    Abstract: The present invention introduces a calligraphy practicing system that uses a tablet PC or a digital notepad to simulate a calligraphy practice environment that allows beginners or other learners to use the computer to learn to write Chinese characters. The calligraphy practicing system includes two subsystems, a hard pen calligraphy practicing subsystem and a soft pen calligraphy practicing subsystem, which provide two different Chinese calligraphy practice functions.
