    Abstract: A dental appliance having means for cleaning teeth, and means for discharging a jet of water closely adjacent the cleaning means to rinse teeth being treated by the cleaning means. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the cleaning means comprises dental floss for cleaning between teeth. In another embodiment, the cleaning means comprises tooth brush bristles for cleaning the surface of the teeth.
