  • Patent number: 6612531
Abstract: An improved two-level suspended lamp frame including a mount fastened onto a ceiling, a junction box extending below the mount, and a pendant fixture inserted at the sides of the mount and the junction box. The mount has insertion holes in which a coupling spring having two inward closured retentive ends is disposed at the interior face of each insertion hole. The junction box has openings formed in its circumference for the fitting of mounting blocks and retaining elements are installed at the two sides of each mounting block. Each pair of retaining elements has secured to their hook nibs an elastic component which, under normal conditions, pulls the inward protruding ends towards the inside of sleeved holes. As such, the rectangular insertion pegs of the pendant fixture are aligned with and slipped into the insertion holes of the junction box and tightly anchored without requiring additional fastening screws and tools to thereby effectively facilitate ease of assembly and installation.

  • Publication number: 20030156897
Abstract: A connection structure of a lamp tube comprises a multi-sectional lamp tube having a front lamp tube and a rear lamp tube, a locking rod engaged in the interior of the multi-sectional lamp tube, and a buffer structure engaged to a distal end of the locking rod. The locking rod is a polygonal embedding section and a distal end thereof has a threaded section. The threaded section of the locking rod is inserted into a resisting block of the front lamp tube and then is exactly locked to the locking seat of the rear lamp tube. The middle section of the locking rod has an embedding section. The embedding section has a resisting block. A buffer structure between the locking rod and the resisting block serves to form a tightening buffer section. Thereby, the front lamp tube and rear lamp tube can be adjusted to an aligned position.

  • Publication number: 20030151923
Abstract: A do-it-yourself lamp rod is formed by a retaining seat and an inserting rod inserting into the retaining seat. The retaining seat is locked to the inner side of a wire connecting box, and a rectangular inserted hole of the retaining seat has a positioning block therein. Thereby, an inserted hole and the positioning block can be engaged. A limiting ring is locked to the inserting portion of the retaining seat. As the limiting ring is released, then the inserting rod can be pulled out. The wire connecting box and inserting rod can be detached so as to reduce the volume for storing, transferring and packaging. Thereby, the user need only insert the inserting rod into the wire connecting box and then lock the limiting ring and thus the assembly of the present invention is completed. Therefore, the present invention can be assembled by users.

  • Publication number: 20030142497
Abstract: A folding structure of a two-layer lampshade is disclosed. The folding structure has a top ring at a topmost of the lampshade, a bottom ring having a diameter larger than that of the top ring, and a supporting frame between the top ring and the bottom ring. A plurality of supporting rods extend from a ring edge of the top ring toward a center of the top ring. The supporting frame is formed by a plurality of longitudinal rods and a plurality of transversal rods. Since the supporting frame is engaged to the bottom ring by the buckle, it can rotate to be positioned horizontally by using the buckles as fulcrums and the inner cloth and outer cloth of the lampshade encloses the folding structure. Thereby, the lampshade is assembled to have a smaller volume, As a consequence, the transfer cost is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20030099109
Abstract: A lamp rod for mounting a lamp to a junction box comprises a mounting socket penetrated through an opening in a side of the junction box and a rod inserted into an interior of the mounting socket. The mounting socket has a collar section inserted into the opening of the junction box. A bore penetrates through an interior of the collar section. A platform having a cutaway portion is formed at a front end of the mounting socket and is disposed within an inner circumference of the junction box. The rod has a plug. The plug has snap-fit holes. After the rod is inserted into the mounting socket bore, the snap fit holes of the plug are respectively engaged with the retaining spring. Therefore, by above structure, overall shipping and storage dimensions are minimized and, furthermore, convenient do-it-yourself assembly can be performed by the user.

  • Publication number: 20030100222
Abstract: A lamp shaft of a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) lamp fixing in a wire connection casing composes a fixing base and an inserting shaft. The fixing base is coupled and secured to a through hole on the lateral side of a wire connection casing. An inserting shaft is inserted into the through hole of the fixing base. By rotating the inserting shaft, the embedding member and the slanted elastic plate are driven to press tighter and tighter with each other and forces the embedding base to be securely fixed onto the fixing base. Such arrangement can reduce the transportation and storage amount of material since the wire connection casing and the inserting shaft can be detached and disposed separately. Furthermore, when the user carries the lamp, he/she does not need other tools for assembly, and it attains the function of facilitating the user's DIY assembly.

  • Patent number: 6540383
Abstract: A disassembly-type lamp shade structure of simple assembly and reduced physical dimensions includes a top ring, a bottom ring of larger circumference than the top ring, and frame members propped between the top ring and the bottom ring. The top ring has support rods extending outwardly from the center having at their extremities upward bends forming insertion hooks. The bottom ring has sleeve mounts for the insertion of the frame members, after which the upper horizontal curved rods of the frame members are situated against the insertion hooks at the extremities of the support rods and lower horizontal curved rods are situated against the bottom ring, thereby positioning and limiting the movement of the frame members. At the area of confluence between the frame member upper horizontal curved rods and the support rods, the upper horizontal curved rods have downward indentations serving as a catch hook that secures the insertion hook.
