  • Patent number: 11960332
Abstract: An electronic device including a hinge module, a first body, a second body, and a flexible display assembled to the first body and the second body is provided. Each of the first body and the second body is pivoted and slidably connected to the hinge module, and a cover of the hinge module is exposed out of the first body and the second body. The first body and the second body are rotated relatively via the hinge module to bend or flatten the flexible display, when the flexible display is bending from a flat state, a bending portion of the flexible display leans against the cover and pushes the cover away from the first body and the second body.

  • Patent number: 7593113
Abstract: The present invention relates to a large area undistorted imaging apparatus for light speckles and a method thereof. The large area undistorted imaging apparatus for light speckles comprises a light-emitting device, a light-limiting module, and a sensor. The light-limiting module is adapted in front of the sensor, and includes a plurality of light-limiting members. The light-limiting members are arranged in a one- or two-dimensional array. When the light-emitting device emits light to an object surface, one or more rays of scattered light are produced. By means of the light-limiting module, said one or more rays of scattered light are limited, and a plurality of rays of diffraction light is produced. The plurality of rays of diffraction light within a certain angular field of view produced by a light-limiting member interferes with each other and produces a plurality of undistorted light speckles, and forms an array of light-speckle images on the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20070139659
Abstract: A method and device for capturing speckles are described. A highly coherent light emitted from a light source is used to illuminate a surface and produces scattered lights. The scattered lights pass through a light restrictive element and the diffracted lights produced by this restrictive element interfere with one another to generate a speckle pattern. An image sensor is then used to pick up the speckle pattern to form a speckle image. Therefore, the effects of diffraction and interference and a light restrictive element to enlarge the speckle size and reduce the variation of the speckle pattern during the movement of the imaging device are utilized, so that the speckle pattern can be clearly identified in the image. As a result, the method and device for capturing speckles are fairly stable and sensitive.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a multimedia learning system with digital archives, in which all lecture notes and audio/video data are integrally stored and controlled with the time axis and the semi-structured language, i.e., extensive markup language (XML). The user can access the audio/video data from the archives with log files of XML codes. These data comprise audio/video data in various media servers, slides, Html data, and audio/video data presented at proper timing. By means of the archives of the present invention, the original status during lecturing is presented. The user can also search the corresponding audio/video data by inputting keywords which will be compared with the audio/video data through the server. • Publication number: 20070064983
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for automatically detecting a nasal tumor from the MR (magnetic resonance) images. First, the pixels that have specific trends and are affected by contrast agents with specific level will be filtered according to the developing coefficient and control coefficient of grey prediction. Then the tumor area would be detected by using Fuzzy C-means clustering technique to distinguish the differences between normal tissue and tumor. Owing to the work of grey prediction, calculation in the Fuzzy C-means clustering technique can be dramatically reduced and the result of tumor detection is enhanced.
