  • Patent number: 11953947
Abstract: A flash drive includes a main housing, a USB adapter unit mounted in the main housing and extending out of the main housing, an inner housing movably connected to the main housing, and a flash memory unit including a flash memory that is mounted in the inner housing, and a USB-A plug that is connected to the flash memory. The inner housing is operable to move, with respect to the main housing, between a USB-C position, where the USB-A plug is electrically connected to the USB adapter unit to allow for data transfer therebetween, and a USB-A position, where the USB-A plug is detached from the USB adapter unit to prevent data transfer therebetween, such that data is transferable to and from the flash memory via the USB-A plug.

  • Patent number: 11651588
Abstract: Disclosed are an object detection method and a convolution neural network. The method is performed through hierarchical architecture of the CNN and includes extracting groups of augmented feature maps from an input image through a backbone and two other groups of feature maps, identifying positive and negative samples with an IOU-based sampling scheme to be proposals for foreground and background through a proposal-sampling classifier, mapping the proposals to regions on the groups of augmented feature maps through the region proposal module, pooling the regions to fixed scale feature maps based on ROI aligning, fusing the fixed scale feature maps, and flattening the fused feature maps to generate an ROI feature vector through an ROI aligner for object classification and box regression. Because extracted features in the groups of augmented feature maps range from spatially-rich features to semantically-rich features, enhanced performance in object classification and box regression can be secured.

  • Publication number: 20180073081
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method to predict prognostic results for diseases including acute myeloid leukemia (AML) by analyzing novel markers which comprises microRNA/mRNA (miRNA/mRNA) pairings. In particular, the miRNA/mRNA pairings are a kind of NPM1 mutation-modulated miRNA/mRNA regulation pairs.

  • Publication number: 20160070852
Abstract: The present invention relates to a scoring method for predicting the survival of a de novo AML patient based on the expression level of microRNAs mir-9, mir-155 and mir-203 in the patient. Patients with higher scores are associated with shorter overall survival. This scoring method is simple, powerful, and widely applicable for risk stratification of AML patients.

  • Publication number: 20060265582
Abstract: A method for updating factory default settings and boot loaders in an embedded system is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: recording factory default settings to each partition of a flash memory; installing the flash memory in the embedded system and doing function tests; generating a new boot loader comprising NVRAM variables; modifying a parameter of the NVRAM variables; and updating the new boot loader to the flash memory. The invention can be used to update boot loaders or a firmware, and generate new boot loaders based on documents modified by a user.
