    Abstract: A method includes forming a dummy gate over a semiconductor fin; forming a source/drain epitaxial structure over the semiconductor fin and adjacent to the dummy gate; depositing an interlayer dielectric (ILD) layer to cover the source/drain epitaxial structure; replacing the dummy gate with a gate structure; forming a dielectric structure to cut the gate structure, wherein a portion of the dielectric structure is embedded in the ILD layer; recessing the portion of the dielectric structure embedded in the ILD layer; after recessing the portion of the dielectric structure, removing a portion of the ILD layer over the source/drain epitaxial structure; and forming a source/drain contact in the ILD layer and in contact with the portion of the dielectric structure.

    Abstract: A multidrop network system includes N network devices. The N network devices include a master device and multiple slave devices, and each network device has an identification code as its own identification in the multidrop network system. The N network devices have N identification codes and obtain transmission opportunities in turn according to the N identification codes in each round of data transmission. Each network device performs a count operation to generate a current count value, and when the identification code of a network device is the same as the current count value, this network device obtains a transmission opportunity. After a device obtains the transmission opportunity, it determines whether a cut-in signal from another network device is observed in a front duration of a predetermined time slot, and then determines whether to abandon/defer the right to start transmitting in the remaining duration of the predetermined time slot.

    Abstract: An immersion cooling system includes a pressure seal tank, an electronic apparatus, a pressure balance pipe and a relief valve. The pressure seal tank is configured to store coolant. A vapor space is formed in the pressure seal tank above the liquid level of the coolant. The electronic apparatus is completely immersed in the coolant. The pressure balance pipe has a gas collection length. The first port of the pressure balance pipe is disposed on the top surface of the pressure seal tank. The relief valve is disposed on the second port of the pressure balance pipe. The second port is farther away from the top surface of the pressure seal tank than the first port. The gas collection length of the pressure equalization tube allows the concentration of vaporized coolant at the first port to be greater than the concentration of vaporized coolant at the second port.

    Abstract: An AMOLED display driving device is switchable among plural frame rates, and includes a timing control unit, a panel driving unit, and an emission duty ratio control unit. Based on an input frame rate, the timing control unit changes the display time and V-blanking time in the frame period corresponding to the frame rate by extending V-blanking time, so that the display time in the frame period corresponding to the frame rate is equal to a standard display time. Based on the input frame data and frame timing, the panel driving unit drives an AMOLED display panel to display the input frame on the AMOLED display panel according to the changed display time and V-blanking time in the frame period corresponding to the frame rate. During the frame period corresponding to the frame rate, the emission duty ratio control unit applies plural emission pulses to the AMOLED display panel.
