  • Patent number: 9836539
Abstract: Methods and system for providing a list of recommended items in response to a query includes obtaining user navigation information relevant to the query from a plurality of user access logs associated with the plurality of users. The user access logs define the navigation sequence followed by a plurality of users for a plurality of queries. The navigation sequence represents the users browsing behavior and identifies answers to the queries. A set of temporal parameters for analyzing the user navigation information is identified. The temporal parameters define time frame for analyzing the user navigation information. A list of recommended items to navigate is dynamically generated by analyzing user navigation information obtained from user access logs using temporal parameters. The generated list includes items that are most relevant to the query. The generated list of items is returned in response to the query and represents an optimal result.

  • Publication number: 20140122403
Abstract: A loading prediction method, applicable to an electronic device, includes the following steps. Multiple resource loading records of the electronic device at multiple time periods are recorded, respectively. A predicted time point is received. A time difference between the predicted time point and a current time point is calculated. The predicted time point is greater than the current time point on a timeline. Whether the time difference is less than a threshold value is determined. A regression-based prediction according to the resource loading records is performed when the time difference is less than the threshold value. A clustering-based prediction according to the resource loading records is performed when the time difference is not less than the threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20130283283
Abstract: An application usage history of a plurality of applications installed on the portable electronic device is logged. The application usage history includes any combination of when the applications are launched, where the application are launched and application launch patterns. Any combination of a current time information, a current location information and a current application launch pattern are obtained. The applications are selected to provide the application list including at least one application that is possible to be launched according to the application usage history and any combination of the current time information, the current location information and the current application launch pattern.
