Patent number: 10600209Abstract: A calibration method for a camera which monitors a target board is disclosed, comprising steps: using the camera to capture a target image corresponding to the target board; using rotation and translation to align the target image to a reference standard and acquire the corresponding relationship of the target image and the target board; defining a region of interest above the target image; using at least one positioning marker in at least two positions of the target board, whose actual space coordinates are known, and using the camera to acquire at least two image coordinates of the positioning markers in the region of interest; and using the known actual space coordinates and the acquired image coordinates to work out the exact position of the camera. Thereby, the positions of the cameras can be used to correctly determine the positions of darts.Type: GrantFiled: January 12, 2018Date of Patent: March 24, 2020Assignee: NVTEK Electronic Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chin-Wei Liu, Wen-Chih Teng

Patent number: 10126102Abstract: An automatic scoring dart target device and a method of using the same are provided. The device includes a dart target, a plurality of image capturing units, a background-shield and a processor. The dart target is made of solid material on which darts are shot. The image capturing units and the dart target are disposed on the same surface. The image capturing units respectively capture a plurality of images at intersecting directions. The background shield is disposed relative to the image capturing units so that the image capturing units can generate the background information. The processor calculates the scores based on the background information and locations of the dart in a selection of two images among the plurality of images individually captured by the corresponding plurality of image capturing units. Thus, the scores of landed darts can be automatically calculated when using the conventional dart target.Type: GrantFiled: January 5, 2017Date of Patent: November 13, 2018Assignee: NVTEK Electronic Co., Ltd.Inventors: Wen-Chih Teng, Chin-Wei Liu

Patent number: 9148581Abstract: A multi-function control illumination device has a synchronization separator, a parameter setting device, a light emitting device, and a video processor. The synchronization separator connects with a video camera and the parameter setting device connecting with the light emitting device. The synchronization separator receives a video signal from the video camera, retrieves a synchronization signal from the video signal, and outputs the synchronization signal to the parameter setting device. The parameter setting device generates an electric signal corresponding to the synchronization signal according to at least one illumination parameter and outputs the electric signal to the light emitting device. The light emitting device emits toward a shooting direction of the video camera a light beam whose intensity periodically varies according to the electric signal.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 2013Date of Patent: September 29, 2015Assignee: National Chiao Tung UniversityInventors: Jen-Hui Chuang, Wen-Chih Teng

Publication number: 20140021788Abstract: An uninterrupted power supply and detection device wherein a light fixture operates with and is coupled to a driving and linking module and a power supply wire. The driving and linking module connected to the power supply wire can sense a voltage state on the power supply wire. At this time, operation of the light fixture can be controlled by a wired or wireless switch of a control unit. When the voltage state is abnormal, the electricity detecting unit set in the driving and linking module can detect a signal representing abnormal power supply. Thereby, backup power can be supplied for driving emergency illumination of a light emitting element of the light fixture. Accordingly, original operation performed in a general power supply system can be kept and backup power can be supplied to keep illumination of the light fixture when the normal power supply is interrupted.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 23, 2012Publication date: January 23, 2014Inventors: CHING-NAN YANG, Wu-Kun Shih, Wen-Chih Teng
