  • Patent number: 10194129
Abstract: A method of taking pictures for generating three-dimensional image data is disclosed. The method includes continuously illuminating a target object with an environmental light; using an image sensor to receive the light reflected from the target object to generate a first electrical image signal; illuminating the target object with an active light generated from an active light source unit during the period of exposure by the environmental light; using the same image sensor to receive another reflected light to generate a second electrical image signal; using an image processing unit to receive the first and second electrical image signals, convert the first electrical image signal to a two-dimensional image data, and subtract the first electrical image signal from the second electrical image signal to generate three-dimensional depth data; and combining the two-dimensional image data and the three-dimensional depth data to generate the three-dimensional image data.

  • Patent number: 9305207
Abstract: A depth-photographing method of detecting human face or head includes the steps of using the specific light to illuminate the target under an environmental light, receiving and detecting the reflected light from the target with the detector, generating first depth detecting information corresponding to the depth of the target, turning off the specific light, detecting another reflected light from the target, generating second depth detecting information corresponding to the depth of the target, performing the detection/calculation process based on the first and second depth detecting information to generate the appearance of the target, determining if the appearance of the target represents a human face or head, and if yes, generating depth-photographing detection information used to cancel a lock state, thereby avoiding unintentionally entering power saving (or standby mode), speeding up entering the desired power saving or dynamically changing/adjusting the display content.

  • Patent number: 8311258
Abstract: A headset includes a housing having a first wall with at least one sound hole formed thereon, a loudspeaker unit disposed in the housing and adjacent to the sound hole, a blocking component mounted in the housing and capable of slidably moving towards and backwards the first wall to form an adjunctive chamber therebetween, and an adjustive component rotatably mounted to the housing. The adjustive component is connected with the blocking component in a way of screw link in order to drive the blocking component to move towards and backwards the first wall when the adjustive component is driven to rotate.

  • Publication number: 20090113463
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an optical disk reproducing device including an external optical disk drive and a detachable module. The external optical disk drive reproduces data from the optical disk. The detachable module has an audio output or video output connector. Besides, the external optical disk drive has a first connector and the detachable module has a corresponding second connector. The detachable module is connected with an audio output device or a video output device via the audio output connector or the video output connector respectively. After data is processed in the external disk drive, the data is sent to the control chip for further processing. The data processed by the control chip is sent to the audio output device or the video output device.
