The expanded steam is mixed with steam from the combustion of hydrogen and oxygen in an intermediate pressure combustor and expanded in an intermediate pressure turbine, thus generating more rotating shaft power. The steam from the intermediate pressure turbine is fed into a heat recovery steam generator that cools the steam and heats water streams to form cooling steam for at least one of the turbines and the combustors.
