The communication network is connected to the mobile image capturing device satisfying the monitoring message. The mobile image capturing device resolves the monitoring message, captures an image of a disposition site, and transmits the image back to the monitoring device. In addition, a predetermined time is set, and then the mobile image capturing device automatically transmits the obtained image of the disposition site to the monitoring device.

    Abstract: A gateway includes a local area network (LAN) port, a mobile communication interface and a controlling module. The gateway uses the LAN port to communicate with a LAN outside the gateway, and uses the mobile communication interface connecting to an mobile communication apparatus to communicate with a telecommunication network outside the gateway. The controlling module built in the gateway includes a detecting module and a driving module. The detecting module is used for detecting if the mobile communication apparatus connects to the mobile communication interface. As soon as the detecting module finds the mobile communication apparatus, the driving module is activated to utilize the mobile communication apparatus to communicate with the telecommunication network, and thereby the gateway can establish a communication between the LAN and the telecommunication network.

    Abstract: A PCI debugging device, method and system. The PCI interface includes a request signal, a grant signal and a target ready signal. The system has a debugging mode such that current grant signal will be retained as long as the request signal remains activated. Using a decoding comparator circuit, the debugging device decodes an instantaneous command signal from the PCI interface and compares with a user-defined wait-to-debug command signal so that an identical command signal for activating the request signal can be generated. Due to the continuous activation by the request signal on the PCI interface, the system halts to display system data via a display circuit so that debugging is facilitated.

    Abstract: A setting/driving circuit is provided for use in conjunction with an IC logic unit, such as a CPU having one or more multi-function pins, to provide two or more sets of data, such as a set of parameter data and a set of control data, via the same multi-function pins to the CPU. The setting/driving circuit includes a tri-state buffer and a parameter setting unit composed of two resistors and a switch, such as a jumper. When the tri-state buffer is disabled, the parameter data set by the switch is transferred to the multi-function pin of the CPU. On the other hand, when the tri-state buffer is enabled, the input data to the input port of the tri-state buffer is transferred to the multi-function pin of the CPU. The tri-state buffer can be integrated within the chip set without having to increase the total number of pins on the chip set so that the layout complexity on the motherboard can be simpler and thus easier to assemble compared to the prior art.

    Abstract: An option setting device and method is provided for use on a computer mother-board for providing various user-defined settings to the motherboard. The motherboard includes a CPU, a chip set coupled to the CPU, a clock generator coupled to the chip set, a delay circuit coupled to the chip set, a first latching circuit coupled to the chip set, and a reset circuit coupled to the delay circuit. After the motherboard is power on, the CPU transfers a first setting via the chip set to the first latching circuit so as to allow the first setting to be latched in the first latching circuit, and meanwhile triggers the delay circuit to start counting time. The delay circuit outputs a trigger signal to the reset circuit after a preset time, causing the reset circuit to restart the motherboard. After the motherboard is restarted, the chip set fetches the first setting from the first latching circuit so as to be set accordingly.
