  • Publication number: 20240142794
Abstract: A stereo projection screen including a scattering screen having a scattering structure layer, a phase retardation layer disposed between the scattering structure layer and the polarized projector, and a metal reflection layer covering at least a part of the scattering structure layer is provided. The scattering structure layer and the phase retardation layer are arranged in a first display area and a second display area of the stereo projection screen. The metal reflection layer is arranged in at least one of the first display area and the second display area. A first image light beam having a first polarization state has a second polarization state after being transmitted to the first display area and leaving the stereo projection screen. A second image light beam having the first polarization state still has the first polarization state after being transmitted to the second display area and leaving the stereo projection screen.

  • Publication number: 20240107414
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for switching a secondary cell to a primary cell. A user equipment (UE) monitors a first radio condition of the UE for beams of a primary cell and a second radio condition for beams of one or more secondary cells configured for the UE in carrier aggregation. The UE transmits a request to configure a candidate beam of at least one candidate secondary cell as a new primary cell in response to the first radio condition not satisfying a first threshold and the second radio condition for the at least one candidate secondary cell satisfying a second threshold. A base station determines to reconfigure at least one secondary cell as the new primary cell. The base station and the UE perform a handover of the UE to the new primary cell.

  • Patent number: 11936418
Abstract: A radar signal processing system with a self-interference cancelling function includes an analog front end (AFE) processor, an analog to digital converter (ADC), an adaptive interference canceller (AIC), and a digital to analog converter (DAC). The AFE processor receives an original input signal and generates an analog input signal. The ADC converts the analog input signal to a digital input signal. The AIC generates a digital interference signal digital interference signal by performing an adaptive interference cancellation process according to the digital input signal. The DAC converts the digital interference signal to an analog interference signal. Finally, the analog interference signal is fed back to the AFE and cancelled from the original input signal in the AFE processor while performing the front end process, reducing the interference of the static interference from the leaking of a close-by transmitter during the front end process.

  • Patent number: 11931187
Abstract: A method for predicting clinical severity of a neurological disorder includes steps of: a) identifying, according to a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) image of a brain, brain image regions each of which contains a respective portion of diffusion index values of a diffusion index, which results from image processing performed on the MRI image; b) for one of the brain image regions, calculating a characteristic parameter based on the respective portion of the diffusion index values; and c) calculating a severity score that represents the clinical severity of the neurological disorder of the brain based on the characteristic parameter of the one of the brain image regions via a prediction model associated with the neurological disorder.

  • Patent number: 11921001
Abstract: A method and system for inspecting deviation in dynamic characteristics of a feeding system are provided, and the method includes: exciting the feeding system and detecting vibrations of a subcomponent of a component to be inspected of the feeding system to generate a monitoring excitation signal in a monitoring mode; calculating, by a modal analysis method, monitoring eigenvalues and monitoring eigenvectors of the monitoring excitation signal; determining, by a modal verification method, similarity between the monitoring eigenvalues and standard eigenvalues of a digital twin model and similarity between the monitoring eigenvectors and standard eigenvectors of the digital twin model; determining that the dynamic characteristics of the subcomponent are deviated, when the monitoring eigenvalues and monitoring eigenvectors are not similar to the standard eigenvalues and standard eigenvectors. Therefore, the subcomponent whose dynamic characteristics are deviated can be sensed remotely and precisely.

  • Patent number: 8065712
Abstract: Methods and devices for qualifying a client machine to access a network, based on policies governing required protective measures, such as virus checking and operating system updates, are disclosed. A client machine must pass various checks to qualify for access. A client machine may be redirected to remediation resources that support efforts to bring the client machine into compliance with applicable network access requirements. A policy repository is updated regularly by vendors of protective measures. An administrator establishes user roles that are mapped to policy rule sets retrieved from the policy repository. The policy rule sets govern qualification of client machines for access to the network in accordance with the roles of the users of the machines. An access server is an intermediary between a client machine and the access manager. A client agent runs on the client machine and carries out checks, and reports the results via the access server to the access manager.

  • Patent number: 8005049
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and devices that support mobility of a client across a campus, particularly mobility across VLANs and subnets, while preserving the client's assigned IP address. Both layer 2 and layer 3 packets are supported. Mobility support most clearly applies to wireless clients, but could apply to other kinds of mobile connections, even to wired connections. A smart server is adapted to support multiple VLANs and to modify and redirect packets in sessions with a client that moves from one VLAN to another, preserving the client's assigned EP address. Two or more smart servers, in cooperation with a smart manger, modify packets and tunnel them between smart servers when a client that moves from one VLAN to another and from one smart server to another, again preserving the client's assigned IF address.
