    Abstract: An electronic device including a NAND flash memory, an auxiliary memory, and a controller is provided. A code for detecting a read command sequence of the NAND flash memory is stored in the auxiliary memory. During a boot procedure of the electronic device, the controller reads the code from the auxiliary memory and executes the code to obtain the read command sequence of the NAND flash memory, so as to access content stored in the NAND flash memory according to the read command sequence.

  • Electronic System and Memory Managing Method Thereof

    Abstract: A memory managing method for an electronic system is provided. The electronic system includes an auxiliary memory, and is capable of communicating with a flash memory including a plurality of blocks. Each of the blocks has a logical/physical address mapping relationship. The address mapping relationships are stored in a storage region in the flash memory. The memory managing method first determines whether the address mapping relationships stored in the storage region are correct. The address mapping relationships are copied from the storage region to the auxiliary memory when a determination result is affirmative.
