  • Publication number: 20230397235
Abstract: Techniques pertaining to dynamic band selection in multi-link operation (MLO) with time averaged specific absorption rate (TA-SAR) information in wireless communications are described. An apparatus determines a resource allocation regarding one or more multi-link operation (MLO) bands. The apparatus then allocates at least one of a transmit (TX) power, a TX duty cycle and a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) rate in wirelessly transmitting in the one or more MLO bands to result in a TA-SAR that is no greater than a predefined limit.

  • Publication number: 20230269042
Abstract: A device is provided, which includes radio-frequency circuitry and an encoder. The encoder is configured to modulate input data to generate a long-range packet, and to transmit the long-range packet to a receiver through the radio-frequency circuitry. The long-range packet includes a long-range signal field (LR-SIG) and a long-range data field (LR-DATA). Each modulated bit in the long-range signal field and the long-range data field is spread into a plurality of spread modulated bits that are distributed into a plurality of symbols in a frequency domain.

  • Patent number: 11601156
Abstract: Disclosed herein are devices and methods to reduce unwanted CIM3 emission in a wireless communication device, such that the transmit (TX) power level applied in a RU can be increased without exceeding a regulatory emission requirement. In some aspects, unwanted emission may be reduced by shifting or changing local oscillator (LO) frequencies during TX operation. Some embodiments are directed to a fast-locking PLL with adjustable bandwidth that can be controlled to increase the PLL bandwidth during the RX to TX transition to provide a fast locking to a new LO frequency. Some aspects are directed to configuring an LO frequency shift amount for different RUs when multiple RUs are allocated within a frequency band.
