  • Patent number: 12102762
Abstract: Disclosed herein are novel designs of a nasal cannula device suitable for supplying a flow of respiratory gas to a user during respiratory therapy. In one design, the nasal cannula device includes a cannula body, and a base. The cannula body has a front, top, and rear sides, in which the rear side is substantially longer than the front side and flattens out at both ends in the form of a wing, and a tab extending out from the lower end of the rear side. At least one nasal joint tube extends out from the top side of the cannula body, and a first connecting member is formed on the tab. The base includes, an opening formed on the top of the base; two through holes respectively formed on the left and right ends of the base; and a second connecting member formed on the bottom of the base. The first and second connecting members are configured to engage with each other thereby enclosing the base within a space collectively defined by the front, top, and rear sides, and the tab of the cannula body.

  • Patent number: 11951259
Abstract: Disclosed herein are novel designs of a medical tube for delivering a respiratory gas to a subject in respiratory therapy, wherein the medical tube is in fluid connection with a user interface and a respiratory device. The medical tube has a tubular body, a first rib helically extending along the outer surface of the tubular body, and optionally, a second rib disposed next to the first rib, and optionally, a membrane encapsulating the first and/or second ribs thereby creating a helical space along the outer surface of the tubular body. In some embodiments, the first rib has a lumen and at least one wire disposed outside the lumen. In other embodiments, the first rib is free of any lumen and includes one or more wires extended therethrough. The lumen of the first rib or the helical space created by membrane encapsulation is configured to monitor the temperature, humidity, flow rate or pressure of the respiratory gas or an exhaled/inhaled gas of a subject.

  • Patent number: 8067283
Abstract: A semiconductor device fabricating method is described. The semiconductor device fabricating method includes providing a substrate. A first gate insulating layer and a second gate insulating layer are formed on the substrate, respectively. A gate layer is blanketly formed. A portion of the gate layer, the first gate insulating layer and the second gate insulating layer are removed to form a first gate, a remaining first gate insulating layer, a second gate and a remaining second gate insulating layer. The remaining first gate insulating layer not covered by the first gate has a first thickness, and the remaining second gate insulating layer not covered by the second gate has a second thickness, wherein a ratio between the first thickness and the second thickness is about 10 to 20. A pair of first spacers and a pair of second spacers are formed on sidewalls of the first gate and the second gate, respectively.
