  • Publication number: 20100050086
Abstract: A preferred contact group centric interface for a communication device can be used to facilitate communications by a user. The user interface can be arranged to activate from a user's “home page” on the display, from an idle screen that is accessed after a timeout period expires, or any other appropriate mechanism that activates the preferred contact group centric experience. A user selects the preferred contact group from among an array of the user's contacts. Once the contact group is configured, a minimal number of navigation/selection features is necessary to activate any number of communication modes available to the contacts. The contact group is configured such that simple and quick navigation between the contact members is achieved. The contact group can be presented in 2D and 3D arrangements, in any number of list or geometric configurations. A pricing plan can optionally be tied to each member of the contact group.

  • Publication number: 20090102449
Abstract: A power supply device with voltage converter circuit comprises a power supply device, a boost loop, a buck loop, and a control unit. The power supply device supplies power by any means. The boost loop is used to step up the voltage of power output by the power supply device. The buck loop is used to step down the voltage of power output by the power supply device. The boost loop and the buck loop are electrically connected in parallel. The control unit selects the use of boost loop or buck loop for the voltage conversion of the power supply device. The control unit monitors the power output of the power supply device and controls the action of the boost loop or the buck loop such that the power supply device would output voltage desired by the system via voltage conversion.

  • Publication number: 20080057353
Abstract: The present invention relates to a fuel cell system having activation assist apparatus and method, wherein the method aims to provide an effective operating method for activating the fluid drawing device in the fuel cell system through external force. The external force acts to activate the fluid drawing device without going through the internal fuel cell. Another object of the activation method is to control the activation of fluid drawing device through an internal chargeable cell and a micro control unit. The activation method further detects and analyzes the status of fuel in the fuel cell through the micro control unit to determine whether to activate the fluid drawing device. In case the chargeable cell is unable to activate the micro control unit or fluid drawing device, it can be recharged and then activate the micro control unit or the fluid drawing device.
