    Abstract: A die suction assistance device is provided to a wafer. The wafer is diced into multiple dies, and a tape is taped on a bottom side of the wafer. The die suction assistance device includes a platform and multiple support structures mounted in the platform. Multiple air ducts are formed among adjacent support structures. When the wafer is air-tightly mounted on the platform, the wafer is supported by the support structures. When an external vacuum device vacuums air out of the platform, a vacuum environment with negative pressure is created in the air ducts. This allows the tape to partially separate from a backside of each of the dies towards the air ducts, and allows the dies to be picked up respectively by a suction nozzle with less chance of being damaged, securing integrities of dies.

    Abstract: A transgenic rice plant containing in its genome a recombinant DNA construct that includes a first nucleic acid having a sequence of a first Golden 2-like transcription factor (GLK) gene operably linked to its natural promoter and 5? untranslated region (5?UTR), and a second nucleic acid having a sequence of a second GLK gene operably linked to its natural promoter and 5?UTR, the second GLK gene being distinct from the first GLK gene. The first GLK gene and the second GLK gene are both from a C4 plant and the transgenic rice plant exhibits a 65-106% increase in shoot biomass and a 50-95% increase in grain yield, as compared to an untransformed wild-type rice plant. Also provided is a method for producing the transgenic rice plant and a recombinant DNA construct that can be used in the method.

    Abstract: An LED package structure includes an insulation substrate, a heat-sink slug, an LED chip assembly, four diodes, and a lead-frame assembly. The heat-sink slug is inserted on the insulation substrate, and includes a loading surface exposed externally, where the LED chip assembly is fixed on the loading surface. The lead-frame assembly includes two externally-extended lead frames and four loading lead frames which are apart from one another, and which are all inserted on the insulation substrate. The four diodes are correspondingly loaded on, and electrically connected with, the four loading lead frames. The LED chip assembly and the four diodes constitute a bridge circuit, wherein the bridge circuit has its positive electrode and negative electrode located at the two externally-extended lead frames, respectively. Therefore, there is no need for the LED package structure to connect externally a rectifier diode module so as to achieve the purpose of convenient use.
