  • Publication number: 20040253982
Abstract: A dual mode wireless network card serves for supporting a GPRS communication device and a wireless receiver. The wireless network card is connected to a GPRS communication device and a wireless receiver. The GPRS communication device uses a PPP communication protocol for using in far-end data communication; the wireless receiver transmits data through a gateway for performing near-end data communication. The wireless network card includes a driving program for switching. When the GPRS communication device is turned off, the wireless network card is switched to the wireless receiver for near-end transmission. The wireless network card can be switched to the GPRS communication device so as to be used suburbs. When the user is indoors with the GPRS communication device being turned on. The wireless network card scans the wireless receiver; if there are signals of the wireless receiver, then the mode is switched for receiving signals of wireless receiver.

  • Publication number: 20040252649
Abstract: A dual mode wireless network card link parameter setting device has communication protocol device connected to a wireless network card driver. The wireless network card driver includes a GPRS module and a wireless network 802.11 protocol module. The GPRS module serves for performing the interaction of the PPP procedure module of the GPRS module and the wireless network 802.11 protocol module so that the wireless network card driver is communicated with external devices. The PPP procedure module transfers signals to a GPRS communication end through the UART data poll module. The wireless network 802.11 protocol module is interacted with the PPP procedure module so that the wireless network card driver communicates with external devices, Thus, signals of the wireless network 802.11 protocol module is sent to a wireless network physical layer device.

  • Publication number: 20040196914
Abstract: A method for adjusting modulation ways in a wireless system is used in a system having a plurality of wireless work stations and an area network. Each wireless work station transmits signals to an area network by a network card. The wireless work stations modulated by one of pulse binary convolution coding (PBCC) and code compensation key shift modulation (CCK). The method comprises the steps of: identifying the receiving signals to determine the receiving signals to be modulated by pulse binary convolution coding (PBCC) or code compensation key shift modulation (CCK) by using the driving program so as to get an identified modulation way; and the medium layer instructing the wireless transmitting and receiving layer to receive signals by the identified modulation way.

  • Publication number: 20040199628
Abstract: A network communication display device serves for receiving signals from a central processing unit which receiving data from computer units in a wireless network. The network communication display device has a liquid crystal display connected to the central processing unit. The liquid crystal display includes a network communication display structure. The network communication display structure comprises a linkage times display unit; a load condition display unit; an interruption distance display unit; an encryption key display unit; a linkage display unit; an uplink and downlink display unit; a WEBPAGE display unit; a multiple-language display unit; and a welcome and congratulation window display unit. Thereby, the communication conditions are displayed by a liquid crystal display through a network router.
