  • Patent number: 6196347
Abstract: A power transmission and pedal force sensing system for an electric motor includes an electric motor, a gear reduction train, a pedal force sensing system, and a power combination mechanism. These four mechanisms are concentrically, closely mounted in a single casing. The pedal force sensing system includes a pedal force transmitting sleeve having an elastic device mounted therein, and a pedal force sensing sleeve mounted outside the pedal force transmission path for converting the pedal force into an axial displacement. A proximity sensor is used to detect the axial displacement and outputs a voltage signal representing the magnitude of the pedal force. The power transmission path is shortened and only one casing is required to house all of the elements to thereby obtain a structure of a higher transmission efficiency and reduced volume and weight.

  • Patent number: 5780073
Abstract: A method of shaping a catheter tip and an apparatus for shaping a catheter tip are disclosed. A hollow tube is radically preheated, which is non-contact thermoforming. The heated tube is then extent outwards and next cooled. After cut, at least two catheters with taper-shaped tip are formed. The apparatus for shaping the catheter tip includes a twin taper-shaped mold wound by heating coil, a tube extending device, a cooling device and a cutting device.

  • Patent number: 5215348
Abstract: A foot pad structure on a rug in an automobile, of which the prime features are that the part to be pedalled on the foot pad has rectangular hole, and a base plate being fixed under the rectangular hole; the base plate has several slots arranged in parallel, in which a corresponding number of Velcro strips or two-side adhesive tapes are to be mounted. There is a detachable pedal piece, of which the front side is to be pedalled by a driver, while the back side thereof is fixedly attached with a plurality of Velcro strips corresponding in number and position to the slots in the aforesaid base plate; by means of such a structure, the pedal piece can directly be fastened together as one piece with the base plate of the foot pad in an automobile. Whenever the pedal piece becomes worn and torn, it can be replaced with a new one without replacing the whole foot pad at a higher cost so as to improve the drawbacks of the conventional foot pad.

  • Patent number: 5192025
Abstract: An electric water spray gun system is disclosed having a floatable intake device with a body made of lightweight material in the form of a high-stem bowl with a plurality of weight rings engaging the stem portion by threads for adjustment of its center of gravity by adjusting the position and/or number of such weight rings. The intake device also has a filter ring with a number of filter elements of different screen sizes arranged over an opening at the lower end of the stem portion which serves as an inlet port, a d.c. motor installed at the upper section of a passage within the body, a lower section serving as a water inlet passage, a first vane fixed to the drive shaft of the d.c. motor, and a check valve at a water outlet port located beside the passage for pumping water from any water source to an electric spray gun. The spray gas is composed of a gun body with an "L" shaped water passage having a water inlet port at one end and a water outlet port at another end, a d.c.
