  • Publication number: 20140043733
Abstract: A ceiling mount occupancy sensor module has a body and a lens cover. The body includes a plurality of locking tabs respectively extending outwardly from side enclosures thereof. The lens cover is attached to the body. With the above-mentioned structure, the ceiling mount occupancy sensor module can be easily installed in a corresponding mounting hole of an apparatus by engagement of the locking tabs of the body with an edge of the mounting hole, and the ceiling mount occupancy sensor can be easily removed from the mounting hole of the apparatus by pressing the locking tabs of the body, thereby facilitating maintenance and replacement of the ceiling mount occupancy sensor.

  • Patent number: 8624526
Abstract: A sensing device, for controlling an LED lighting equipment, and more especially for electrical connection with at least one LED lighting equipment that can be driven by a DC power supply, is disclosed. The sensing device, which can be supplied with an external DC power source, comprises a control module, a signal adjusting unit, an object detecting unit, and a manual time-delay adjustor. The control module can send a control signal train of PWM or PFM to the signal adjusting unit, which will in turn send an amplified signal train of PWM or PFM to the LED lighting equipment, so as to control the illuminating level of the equipment. Thus, the problems of the conventional light modulators, resulting from the use of an AC power supply, can be alleviated. Also, the associated cost of the equipment can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20140001362
Abstract: An occupancy sensor has a body and a lens cover. The body includes an enclosure, a human movement sensing component and at least one multi-position rotary switch. The at least one multi-position rotary switch is configured through the enclosure of the body, has a plurality of switching positions and is rotatable between the switching positions. The lens cover is attached to the body and covers the human movement sensing component. With the above-mentioned structure, a user can easily and accurately rotate the multi-position rotary switch to adjust a function of the sensor because the multi-position rotary switch can be positioned in one of the switching positions, and thereby no excessive or deficient adjustment will be made.

  • Publication number: 20130284932
Abstract: A flat lens with multiple focal lengths has a lens segment. The lens segment is flat and has multiple convex lenses. The convex lenses are mounted on one of the surfaces of the lens segment, and have multiple focal lengths. With the different focal lengths of the convex lenses, multiple distances of detection of a sensor behind the lens segment can be extended to different lengths, and further increase the range of detection. Besides, with different distances of detection, the accuracy of detection would be enhanced effectively, and the erroneous estimate on a volume of the object would reduce effectively. Furthermore, because a shape of the lens segment is flat, the lens as described is more innovative and aesthetically appealing, and is relatively easier to match the building's design or decoration.

  • Patent number: 8482866
Abstract: The lens contains a cup-shaped body with a lens bottom and a lens member extended upward from the lens bottom and forming a 49-degree included angle with the lens bottom. The lens member contains, from bottom to top, a number of layers, each having a number of refraction portions. Each refraction portion contains a number of refraction elements arranged in a concentric manner. According to the inclination angle of the lens member, dimensions of the refraction portions, and the distribution of refraction elements, the lens could be applied to various applications with enhanced coverage range and sensory effect.

  • Publication number: 20120312991
Abstract: A direction interpreting device comprises a sensor and a plate. The sensor includes a positive sensor unit for generating a positive sensor signal and a negative sensor unit for generating a negative sensor signal. The plate is disposed between the positive sensor unit and the negative sensor unit or disposed outside of the sensor. The plate extends beyond the sensor to block the positive sensor signal generated by the positive sensor unit and the negative sensor signal generated by the negative sensor unit. The sensor can interpret a moving direction of an object via a time difference between a responsive waveform of the positive sensor unit and a responsive waveform of the negative sensor unit.

  • Publication number: 20120067073
Abstract: An energy-saving air conditioner and illumination controller is applied to an interior space to regulate the air conditioner fan and the illumination device in the space according to the detected interior temperature, brightness, and status of users in the space. Therefore, a manual operation for regulate temperature and brightness is avoided. Automatically powering off the air conditioner fan and the illumination device is also achieved while no one is in the interior space so that a prevention of energy waste is ensured. A simple installation of the energy-saving air conditioner and illumination controller can be applied to existing air conditioner and illumination equipment without complicated assembly and configuration.
