Abstract: The present invention provides an airflow conducting structure for an electronic device having a base and a control box. The control box is inserted in and mounted on the base, and a first connection section is disposed in a grooved top of the base. The control box has a box body, a heat generating source disposed in the box body, and a second connection section disposed on the bottom of the box body for being connected to the first connection section. The airflow conducting structure includes airflow inlets and airflow outlets that are respectively disposed on the base and the control box, so as to form a chimney-like airway. Therefore, a better heat dissipating efficiency is achieved without increasing the volume of the electronic device.

Abstract: The present invention provides a slantwise connecting base for being connected to a control box having a first connection port. The slantwise connecting base includes a baseplate, a first circuit board and a second circuit board fixed to the baseplate. The baseplate has at least a slanting platform disposed thereon at a slant angle, and the slanting platform is used for disposing the first circuit board to be thereon. Moreover, the first circuit board has a second connection port corresponding to the first connection port, and the second connection port is used for being electrically connected to the control box. The second circuit board has an electrical connection portion for being electrically connected to the first circuit board, thereby allowing the second circuit board and the second connection port to be electrically connected to each other. Thus, the slantwise connecting base provides a means for the control box to be slantwise plugged therein.

Abstract: A window air conditioner with a fire alarm and smoke-exhausting device includes a body, a front room in said body, a wind-releasing gate and a smoke-exhausting gate provided at a side of the front room, an alarm in the body, a sensor positioned outside and connected to the body. The sensor senses smoke or alteration of temperature to control opening and shutting of the wind-releasing gate and the smoke-exhausting gate and turning-on-and-off of the alarm.

Abstract: An air conditioner having functions of fire preventing, smoke exhausting and water spraying includes a sensor for sensing smoke or temperature so as to control operation of a wind-releasing gate, a smoke-exhausting gate, a water-spraying nozzle, and an alarm. When the sensor senses dense smoke or high temperature, smoke is quickly sucked through a wind inlet in an air conditioning box, the smoke-exhausting gate and out of a smoke outlet. At the same time, the water-spraying nozzle is started to spray water and the alarm to give out warning sound, elevating public safety.

Abstract: A pump impeller is adapted for rotatably mounting within a volute of a centrifugal slurry pump. The pump impeller has an intake opening that is formed coaxially with an axis of rotation of the impeller. The impeller also has an outlet opening that extends about the periphery of the impeller and blades that extend generally radially between the intake opening and the outlet opening. The region between adjacent blades defines a respective blade passage through which slurry flows upon rotation of the impeller. The impeller is dimensioned relative to the volute so that the ratio of the blade passage width at the entry of the blade passage to the blade width passage at the periphery of the impeller is in a range of 1.5 to 1.7, and the ratio of the diameter of the impeller to the blade passage width is in a range of 9.3 to 10.2 and that the ratio of the impeller diameter to the width of the volute is in a range of 3.8 to 4.2. This dimensioning enables the pump to operate in a specific speed range of 22 to 30.
