Publication number: 20230057722Abstract: A volumetric content enhancement system (“the system”) can annotate at least a portion of a plurality of voxels from a volumetric video with contextual data. The system can determine at least one actionable position within the volumetric video. The system can create an annotated volumetric video that includes the volumetric video, an annotation with the contextual data, and the at least one actionable position. The system can provide the annotated volumetric video to a volumetric content playback system. The system can obtain viewer feedback associated with the viewer and can determine an emotional state of the viewer based, at least in part, upon the viewer feedback. The system can receive viewer position information that identifies a specific actionable position of the viewer. The system can generate manipulation instructions to instruct the volumetric content playback system to manipulate the annotated volumetric content to achieve a desired emotional state of the viewer.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2021Publication date: February 23, 2023Applicant: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: Eric Zavesky, David Gibbon, Wen-Ling Hsu, Jianxiong Dong, Richard Palazzo

Patent number: 9883413Abstract: Network traffic usage information for a set of registered devices is monitored, analyzed, and reported within a cellular service provider portion of a communications network. The network traffic usage information can relate to data traffic, voice traffic, and/or short message service traffic. Reporting the network traffic usage information is customizable such that parameters associated with the network traffic usage can be changed, depending on the parameters that are of current interest to an organization affiliated with the set of registered devices.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 2013Date of Patent: January 30, 2018Assignee: AT&T INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY I, L.P.Inventors: Cynthia Cama, Jeffrey Erman, Wen-Ling Hsu, Yu Jin, Ann E. Patent number: 9519712Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to evaluate a search engine using search results retrieved from a plurality of different search engines. For example, a controller can randomly distribute a set of pre-formulated queries to a plurality of computers to query the search engines at random times to obtain search results and combine the search results to evaluate the completeness of a query result provided by a particular search engine. The controller may simulate the random queries from users using a set of computers and may reduce the burden on the search engines by spreading out the query activities over a period of time, such as a month.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2009Date of Patent: December 13, 2016Assignee: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: Colin R. Publication number: 20020186826Abstract: A system and method for offering a service upgrade to a service user. The system includes a server that monitors utilization by the user and evaluates the user's utilization pattern to determine which, if any, service upgrades may be appropriate for the user. Once a set of candidate service upgrades has been identified, the server then determines whether there is sufficient available capacity to accommodate the provision of such additional services. If such capacity exists, the user is offered the service upgrade. Since the offer is not made unless there is shown to be sufficient available capacity, once the offer is made, the system is able to implement the upgrade in real time with the user's approval.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 16, 2001Publication date: December 12, 2002Inventors: Wen-Ling Hsu, Ronald Sherman, Ted Stine, John G.
