  • Patent number: 7126555
Abstract: A dipole antenna is provided. A radiation portion receives radio signals. A first matching portion includes a body section with one terminal connecting to the radiation portion, and a feed section connecting to another terminal of the body section. A second matching portion has one terminal connecting to the radiation portion to brace the radiation portion with the first matching portion in a cooperative manner. A ground portion connects to another terminal of the second matching portion. The radiation portion has an electric length of a half of a wavelength. The two matching portions have an electric length of a quarter of a wavelength. The radiation portion and the matching portions may be formed in an integrated manner.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 24, 2006
    Assignee: Z-Com, Inc.
    Inventor: Wen-Man Huang
  • Patent number: 7126540
Abstract: A dipole antenna includes a board and a dipole element. The board includes a dielectric substrate. The dipole element resonates within a predetermined bandwidth, and includes a pair of bilaterally symmetrical radiating arms, each of which is formed on the dielectric substrate. The dipole antenna has a relatively high degree of omni-directivity.

  • Patent number: 7053855
Abstract: Disclosed is a 3D inverted F-antenna for easy production, fast assembly, wider bandwidth that provides excellent capacity of radiating and receiving wireless signal inside wireless communication devices. The 3D inverted F-antenna includes a ground plate. A radiating plate has a hole wherein the dimensions of the radiating plate and the hole are decided by ½ of the predetermined resonance wavelength. A shorting unit is connected to the ground plate and the radiating plate. A media is located between the ground plate and the radiating plate for isolating the ground plate and the radiating plate. A conductive signal feeding device is located in the ground plate and electrically coupled to the radiating plate for transmitting signal.
