  • Patent number: 6251095
Abstract: Safety syringe with retractable standard needle including a syringe barrel, a plunger and an injection needle. A commonly used standard medical injection needle can be firmly fitted with the needle holder in accordance with the requirement of a user. The inner wall of the internal chamber at the open end of the syringe barrel is formed with an entrance recess extending along the axis of the internal chamber. The operating end of the plunger is formed with a radially outward projecting stopper section for preventing the needle pulling mechanism of the plunger from being accidentally latched with the needle pulling mechanism of the syringe barrel.

  • Patent number: 6200294
Abstract: A multifunctional syringe with safety slide sleeve, including: a connecting tube, a top end of the connecting tube being formed with a needle connecting section for connecting with an injection needle, a bottom end of the connecting tube being connected with an infusion tube, an outer circumference of the connecting tube being formed with a latching groove near the top end thereof, at least one guiding rib being formed on the connecting tube and axially downward extending from a lower side of the latching groove, the guiding rib being downward tapered; and a safety slide sleeve slidably fitted around the infusion tube or the connecting tube, a bottom end of a fitting hole of the slide sleeve being formed with an inward extending latching flange. When the slide sleeve is slided upward, the latching flange is guided by the guiding rib to be smoothly latched in the latching groove of the connecting tube.

  • Patent number: 6033385
Abstract: A safety vein syringe with retractable special needle, including a syringe barrel, a plunger, an injection needle and a guiding mechanism formed between the needle holder and the plunger. By means of the guiding mechanism, the plunger can be only axially moved within the barrel without rotation and two needle pulling members can be easily aligned with each other and latched together. The first needle pulling member is formed on the needle holder or the plunger, having at least one rotatable click. The second needle pulling member is formed on the plunger or the needle holder, having a detent. When the piston of the plunger is pushed to the bottom, the detent is easily and firmly engaged and hooked with the click. Thereafter, the injection needle and the needle holder can be together pulled into the barrel with the tip of the injection needle positioned under the shoulder section of the barrel.

  • Patent number: 5976108
Abstract: A safety vein syringe with retractable standard needle, including a syringe barrel, a plunger, an injection needle and a guiding mechanism formed between the needle holder and the plunger. By means of the guiding mechanism, the plunger can be only axially moved within the barrel without rotation and two needle pulling members can be easily aligned with each other and latched together. A commonly used standard needle holder is replaceably connected with a second needle holder, whereby a user can replace the injection needle with another type of injection needle as necessary.

  • Patent number: 5971959
Abstract: An automatic safety infusion catheter needle including: a trifurcate connector having a first and a second connecting sections coaxially aligned with each other; an infusion soft needle inserted on the first connecting section of the trifurcate connector; and a steel needle having a needle body slidably fitted in a sleeve and axially passed in the soft needle. The sleeve is connected with the second connecting section of the trifurcate connector. The holder body of the steel needle has a projecting post formed with an air guiding hole for exhausting the air outside and making the liquid medicine smoothly flow into the soft needle. An infusion catheter is serially connected with a third connecting section of the trifurcate connector for infusion of liquid medicine through the soft needle into the body of a patient. The steel needle is formed with a latching groove and at least one guiding rib is disposed on a lower edge of the latching groove.

  • Patent number: 5961493
Abstract: An automatic safety infusion catheter needle including: a trifurcate connector having a first and a second connecting sections coaxially aligned with each other and a third connecting section serially connected with an infusion catheter; an infusion soft needle inserted on the first connecting section of the trifurcate connector; and a steel needle device including a steel needle body and a protective sleeve. A base seat of a bottom end of the steel needle body is normally resiliently and slidably latched in the protective sleeve. A top section of the protective sleeve is snugly fitted with the second connecting section of the trifurcate connector. A needle holder upward projects from the base seat of the steel needle body. A steel needle is coaxially inserted with the needle holer. The steel needle is passed through the top end of the protective sleeve and coaxially fitted in the soft needle. The needle holder is formed with guide hole for guiding a liquid medicine to smoothly flow out.

  • Patent number: 5931815
Abstract: A multifunctional safety infusion set with injection needle retractable in a wing-equipped sheath. The infusion set includes a connecting tube having an upper and a lower engaging sections respectively near top end and bottom end of the connecting tube. The bottom end of the connecting tube is connected with an infusion tube, while the top end thereof is connected with an injection needle. The infusion set further includes a wing-equipped sheath slidably fitted around the connecting tube. When the sheath is slid downward to engage with the lower engaging section of the connecting tube, the injection needle protrudes outside the sheath for injection. After the injection is completed, the sheath is slid upward to engage with the upper engaging section of the connecting tube so as to totally enclose and hide the injection needle in the sheath without protruding outside. Therefore, the accidental impalement of medical personnel is avoided and the safety is ensured.

  • Patent number: 5931813
Abstract: A retractable and destructible safety syringe including a syringe barrel, a plunger, a needle holder, a needle, capture elements formed on the needle holder or the plunger and a one-way movable detent formed on the plunger or the needle holder. When a piston of the plunger is fully depressed within the syringe barrel, the detent can be easily firmly engaged with the capture elements, whereby the needle holder and the needle can be together pulled back into the barrel. In addition, when the fully retracted plunger is depressed again, the tip of the needle is pressed against a shoulder section of the barrel, being bent and destroyed thereby. Sealing fixing rings are formed on outer wall of the needle holder and inner wall of the needle holder cavity, serving to sealably and separably engage the needle holder with the needle holder cavity. A latch plate is disposed between the barrel and the plunger to prevent the plunger from being pushed to latch the capture elements to the detent by mistake.

  • Patent number: 5899887
Abstract: A safety syringe with retratable standard needle, including a syringe barrel, a plunger and an injection needle. A commonly used standard needle holder is replaceably connected with a second needle holder, whereby a user can conveniently replace the injection needle with another type of injection needle as necessary. A first needle pulling member is formed on the needle holder or the plunger, having at least one rotatable click. A second needle pulling member is formed on the plunger or the needle holder, having a detent. When the piston of the plunger is pushed to the bottom, the detent is easily and firmly engaged and hooked with the click. Thereafter, the injection needle and the needle holder can be together pulled into the barrel so as to ensure that the injection needle will not impale medical personnel or other persons.
