  • Publication number: 20070011940
Abstract: An intermittent insect trap, working time of which proceeds by alternating periods, and embodies two primary operations including actuation of ultrasonic waves to excite an attractant and form a mist and formation of a backpressure airflow, thereby ensuring that concentration of the mist is not disturbed and thus reduced by external forces during the course of vaporization, and thus preventing dilution of the attractant. Moreover, intermittent operation of a motor results in substantial savings in power. The insect trap primarily uses a mist excitation device to excite and disperse an insect attractant as attractant particles that suspend in the air and diffuse. After achieving a predetermined diffusion concentration, operation switches over to actuate a backpressure device, which pressures lured insects into a receiving chamber through a valve. The alternating working times and mechanical ensnaring of insects provide the insect trap with effective inducement and power saving features.

  • Patent number: 7034411
Abstract: An application of low-temperature and solid-state pyroelectric energy converter for converting heat produced from low-temperature operations into electric energy, which utilizes man-made waste heat or waste heat from natural environments for producing changes in materials of specific lattice structures, so as to result potential difference caused anisotropy displacement of centers of positive charges and negative charges along directions of polar axes of the lattices, thereby converting heat energy into electric energy. The application is entirely implemented in an environment having a heat source, and thermal energy is continuously converted into electric energy. Therefore, in order to accomplish energy recycling and energy assisting purposes, the application can be extensively applied in appliances or equipments that produce waste thermal energy.

  • Publication number: 20050240162
Abstract: An eye treatment device that atomizes a medicament to form a liquid mist, which can then be directly sprayed onto the eyes of a user, and embraces a primary configuration including a cover member configured on a main body and adapted to cover periphery of the eyes, and a liquid mist exciter device configured to be at closest distance from the cover member. The exciter device utilizes a piezoelectric ceramic oscillator to actuate percussion boards, and liquid mist output sides of the percussion boards face the cover member, thereby forming a configuration that realizes closest separation from the eyes of the user and a high-speed cooling effect. The eye treatment device thus enables direct spraying of the liquid mist onto the eyes.

  • Patent number: 6856232
Abstract: A mounting fixture for fast installation of switch connectors is provided. The mounting fixture is encased in a molded housing with a plurality of dividers separating an interior of the housing into a plurality of compartments. An elongated pin is adjacent to one end wall of the housing for receiving the metal pin of the connector and an elongated anchor slot is adjacent to another end wall for anchoring a metal inlay in each compartment. Each metal inlay is formed with two orthogonal planes, an anchor plate and a resilient plate. The resilient plate has a notch on the far edge, such that when the copper wires of the electric cable are inserted into the mounting fixture through the wire hole, the notch will be able to clamp on the inserted wires by the counter force from the resilient plate.

  • Patent number: 6712094
Abstract: A connection structure for faucet water discharge tube and faucet body and particularly an improved connection structure to resolve the problems of connecting the water discharge tube by soldering that occur to modern faucets. The faucet body has a two-step opening formed on the inner wall to couple with an outer screw coupling tube. The outer screw coupling tube is extended outside the faucet body to couple with screw threads formed on the inner wall of a water discharge tube to form a passage inside the faucet body and the water discharge tube. Assembly can be accomplished rapidly and the connection juncture is smooth. Difficult polishing process can be eliminated. Pores and defective soldering occurred in the soldering process decrease, and loss resulting from defective products is lower. Production cost can be greatly reduced and the aesthetic appeal of finished products increases.
