    Abstract: A wheeled distance measuring device includes a wheel unit having a wheel and a front fork with which the wheel is rotatably connected. A pole unit is connected to the front fork and a handle is connected to a top of the pole unit. A measuring unit is connected to a side of the front fork and a brake unit and an initialization unit are connected to the measuring unit. The brake unit and the initialization unit have a brake key and an initialization key received in the handle. Two respective rods are connected to the brake and initialization keys respectively and extend through the pole unit and connected to the measuring unit. By operating the brake key and the initialization key, the wheel can be braked and the measuring unit can be initialized respectively.

The mounting apparatus includes a conductive bracket having two side plates, and at least one fastener installed on an inside surface of each of the side plates. Each fastener includes a conductive elastic portion fixed to the corresponding side plate, and a conductive fixing portion extending from the elastic portion and perpendicular to the corresponding side plate. The elastic portions engage with the lateral sides of the storage device respectively, the fixing portions engage in the fixing holes of the storage device respectively.

The bracket includes a first sidewall defining a slot therein. A stop plate is formed at an end of the first sidewall adjacent the slot. The latching member includes a resilient plate and a hooking portion. The resilient plate is receivable in the slot in the first sidewall of the bracket and movable relative to the storage device. The resilient plate has a protrusion formed thereon and engagable with the stop plate of the bracket for positioning the latching member in a first direction. The hooking portion is capable of engaging with a portion of the bracket bounding the slot thereof for positioning the latching member in a second direction opposite to the first direction.
