Abstract: A computer system is disclosed. When a user conducts different operations on a switch module, a switch module generates different clicking indication signal, and a logic control module generates a corresponding signal according to clicking indication signals so that a management control module processes a signal generated by a logic control module. As such, a single switch may be used to trigger multiple functions, whereby achieving in the efficacy of saving a design cost of a server panel.

Abstract: Described herein are methods of preventing, arresting progression of or ameliorating vision loss and other conditions associated with retinitis pigmentosa and x-linked retinitis pigmentosa in a subject. The methods include administering to said subject an effective concentration of a composition comprising a recombinant adeno-associated virus (AAV) carrying a nucleic acid sequence encoding a normal retinitis pigmentosa GTPase regulator (RPGR gene), or fragment thereof, under the control of regulatory sequences which express the product of the gene in the photoreceptor cells of the subject, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

Abstract: A rotating cylinder includes a cylinder body, a piston, a piston shaft assembly, a main body and a guiding assembly. The cylinder body defines a receiving chamber. The piston, the piston shaft assembly, the main body and the guiding assembly are received in the receiving chamber. The piston shaft assembly is fixed to the piston, and defines at least one guiding groove lengthwise thereof. Each guiding groove includes a spiral portion and an extending portion. The main shaft is non-rotatably connected to the piston shaft assembly away from the piston and exposed out of the cylinder body. The guiding assembly sleeves on the piston shaft assembly and is slidably connected with the at least one guiding groove. The main shaft is driven to rotate when the guiding assembly engages the spiral portion, and move lengthwise when the guiding assembly is slidably connected with the extending portion.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method, apparatus, and computer program product for scheduling in job execution. According to embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a method for scheduling a plurality of job slots shared by one or more pre-processors and one or more post-processors in job execution, wherein the data generated by the pre-processor(s) will be fed to the post-processor(s) for processing. The method comprises: determining an overall data generation speed of the pre-processor(s); determining an overall data consumption speed of the post-processor(s); and scheduling allocation of at least one of the job slots between the pre-processor(s) and the post-processor(s) based on the overall data generation speed and the overall data consumption speed. Corresponding apparatus is disclosed as well.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of compressing an image to be stored in a memory to satisfy a memory requirement. A size of a region having a uniform colour in the image is determined. The determined size of the region is compared with the candidate values of the region size threshold. A value is selected from the candidate values as the region size threshold based on the comparison between the estimated data amounts to satisfy the region size threshold and the memory requirement. The edges constituting the region which satisfy the selected value of the region size threshold are compressed losslessly.

The first power storage element is coupled to the DC side of the DC/AC converter to form a first power storage branch. The second power storage element is coupled to the DC side of the DC/AC converter to form a second power storage branch. The DC/DC converter is disposed on the first power storage branch or the second power storage branch.

Abstract: A starter of the grid-connected inverter and a control method thereof are disclosed. The starter comprises a controller, and a first switch and a first resistor connected in parallel. The controller includes an input end, and first and second output ends. The input end inspects the DC voltage signal from the inverter. When the DC voltage exceeds a predetermined voltage threshold, the first output end sends a first control signal to turn on the first switch, and the second output end sends a second control signal to make the grid-connected inverter enter into a chopping mode. There is a delay period between the send time of the first control signal and that of the second control signal.

The sliding member can be moved down and up along the base, and includes a first limiting element and a second limiting element. The rotary member is pivotally secured to the base, and includes a first resisting element and a second resisting element. The elastic member is pivotally secured to the base. The elastic member can cause the rotary member to rotate toward different directions. When the rotary member is rotated to cause the first resisting element to be engaged with a bottom of the first limiting element, the latching mechanism is in a locked state. The second limiting element can resist the second resisting element to cause the rotary member to rotate until the first resisting element contacts the first limiting element.

Wherein, the first main magnet together with the first auxiliary magnet and the mid-magnet defines a first magnetic gap and the second main magnet together with the second auxiliary magnet and the mid-magnet defines a second magnetic gap. By virtue of place the magnets at appropriate locations, the sensitivity of the speaker is effectively enhanced.

A metallic stock is placed above the die cavity, and the upper mould is moved toward the lower mould to forge the metallic stock, thereby forming a pre-formed body comprising a forging portion and a pre-forged base; annealing the pre-formed body; providing a forging mould to forge the pre-formed body, thereby obtaining a forged-body with a forged base thinner than that of the pre-forged base. Then the forged-body is milled to a desired size, and sandblasted, thereby obtaining the metallic member.
