    Abstract: A wrist-worn electronic device comprises a lower housing, an upper housing, an electrically non-conductive element, a first antenna and a location determining element. The lower housing includes a molded cover and an outer portion. The molded cover includes a first portion composed of an electrically conductive material, a second portion composed of an electrically non-conductive material and a surface having two electrical ground locations. The upper housing opposes the molded cover, includes a bezel formed of an electrically conductive material and has two electrical ground locations electrically coupled to the two electrical ground locations on the surface of the molded cover. The second portion of the molded cover substantially electrically shields the first antenna from the outer portion of the lower housing. The outer portion of the lower housing may be composed of a non-homogenous material, such as carbon fiber, or a homogenous material, such as titanium.

    Abstract: An electrostatic discharge circuit includes a discharge switch, a first trigger circuit and a second trigger circuit. A first terminal of the discharge switch is coupled to a first power domain, and a second terminal of the discharge switch is coupled to a second power domain. The first trigger circuit is coupled between the first terminal and a control terminal of the discharge switch. The second trigger circuit is coupled between the second terminal and the control terminal. When an electrostatic discharge voltage occurs in the first power domain, the second trigger circuit is configured to form a conduction voltage between the second terminal and the control terminal to turn on the discharge switch. When the electrostatic discharge voltage occurs in the second power domain, the second trigger circuit is configured to short the second terminal and the control terminal to turn on the discharge switch.

    Abstract: A method for processing image noise in a compression process and a circuit system thereof are provided. The circuit system receives an image that is compressed in a specific compression format, and obtains pixel values after the image is decompressed. Differences of pixel values between pixels adjacent to each other can be calculated. A specific area of the image can be divided into multiple sections. A maximum pixel value and a minimum pixel value for each area are used to obtain a regional maximum difference. The regional maximum difference is used to determine whether or not to perform an image-denoising process on the areas such as a flat area or a high-frequency area. Differences among the adjacent pixels can be adjusted according to a weighted average brightness of the adjacent pixels. The image-denoising process is performed on the areas, and an image with reduced noise is finally outputted.

    Abstract: A method and a system for compensating an image having fixed pattern noise are provided. The method is adapted to a 4-cell sensor and can automatically calculate appropriate compensation parameters for fixed pattern noise according to non-uniformity of the sensor and lens. Since the defects in the sensor or the lens may cause non-uniform fixed pattern noise, an image is firstly divided into multiple grids and a pixel average of every channel in the grids is calculated. Afterwards, a fixed pattern noise compensation coefficient of every pixel can be calculated according to characteristics of the image formed by the 4-cell sensor. In one aspect, the compensation coefficient of the current pixel can be calculated by extrapolation or interpolation. The fixed pattern noise in the image can be corrected.

    Abstract: A method for detecting interference patterns for an under-screen camera, a compensation method and a circuit system are provided. The circuit system includes an image-processing circuit and an under-screen camera module. The under-screen camera module captures an image by a lens through a glass substrate of a display module. After receiving the image, the image-processing circuit detects and compensates an interference pattern. In the method, multiple reference points are set in the image, and a brightness average value and a brightness target value for each of the reference points are obtained for calculating an area brightness ratio of the reference points. A binarized image is then obtained. The interference pattern is determined according to symmetrical characteristics of the binarized image. A target matrix is decided for compensating the interference pattern according to weights of all of the reference points of the image.
