  • Publication number: 20240118477
Abstract: A backlight module includes a back board, a lamp board, a wavelength conversion film, an optical film, a coating layer and a reflective component. The back board includes a side wall. The lamp board is arranged on the back board, and includes plural light emitting units. The wavelength conversion film is arranged on the light emitting units. The optical film is arranged on the wavelength conversion film. The coating layer is arranged on the optical film, and adjacent to the optical film. The reflective component is arranged between the side wall and the optical film, and surrounds the wavelength conversion film and the optical film. At an optical wavelength of 450 nanometers, a brightness of a first surface of the reflective component is between 70 and 100, a first chromaticity thereof is between ?10 and 10, and a second chromaticity thereof is between ?10 and 10.

  • Publication number: 20240110163
Abstract: The invention relates to methods for clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat (CRISPR)-mediated A to G and/or C to T editing of the guide-complementary strand of a double stranded target DNA. The invention further relates to a nucleotide molecule encoding said CRISPR-mediated base editing system, to an expression vector comprising the nucleotide molecule, and to a cell comprising the expression vector. The invention further relates to an isolated Cas nuclease that allows A to G and/or C to T editing of the complementary strand of a double stranded target nucleic acid.

  • Publication number: 20230374480
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of gene genome editing. In particular, it relates to the provision of a Cas12a enzyme having nickase activity, as well as the means and methods for the modification of a genomic locus of interest with a Cas12a enzyme having nickase activity and uses thereof.

  • Publication number: 20220372455
Abstract: The type V-U1 system from the bacterium Mycobacterium mucogenicum CCH10-A2 (Mmu) has a nuclease which binds dsDNA but it does not cleave it. Additionally, after dsDNA binding by the nuclease an RuvC-dependent interference of nascent transcript (mRNA) takes place and this mechanism has not been described before for any CRISPR system. CRISPR based gene manipulation can therefore use CRISPR endonucleases from the Type V-U1 system from Mycobacterium mucogenicum, including variant and modified endonucleases, so as to provide for methods of expression control and gene editing in cells of any living organism or of any nucleic acid in vitro.

  • Patent number: 6669672
Abstract: A one-handed hypodermic syringe is a renovated structure that allows users to push and pull the syringe by one hand. The medical personnel may place their thumbs inside the ring disposed in the distal end of the plunger and may press the concave objects disposed in the distal end of the barrel by their index fingers and middle fingers. Thus, the syringe may be held steadily, and the pull-push action of the injection manipulated with one band. The convenience for the medical personnel's use of hypodermic syringe is thereby enhanced.

  • Patent number: 6488656
Abstract: A safety syringe has a needle hub detachably mounted at a front end of the barrel and a plunger slidably received in the barrel and having a retaining column extending out from the engaging flange of the plunger. The needle hub has a pair of retaining plates with a slot defined between the retaining plates. The retaining column has a hook and a slanted face, such that when the retaining column is securely clamped by the retaining plates and the needle hub is forced to move inward the barrel, the needle hub is inclined with respect to the barrel.
