Publication number: 20120013153Abstract: An air-conditioned chair is revealed. The air-conditioned chair includes a chair and an air conditioner. The air conditioner consists of at least one first pipe and at least one second pipe. The first pipe is arranged with several vents corresponding to each of two edges on top of the chair. The vents are used to release gases for air-conditioning such as cold air. The second pipe is corresponding to a return air opening on the chair so as to recycle and reuse the gases for air-conditioning A cover is covered over the chair so as to form a small closed air-conditioned space. Thus good air-conditioning efficiency is achieved by lower energy consumption. The air-conditioned chair can be arranged at different vehicles so as to reduce vehicle power output and provide passengers greatest comfort.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 16, 2010Publication date: January 19, 2012Applicant: SOUTHERN TAIWAN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGYInventors: TONG-BOU CHANG, DENG-MAW LU, WEN YU YEH

Publication number: 20110005236Abstract: An air-conditioning clothes system used in car, which has an air-conditioning device having a cooling unit and with air-conditioning clothes to be worn by the driver and passengers. The air-conditioning clothes include, in its interior, a pipe duct having air openings. The air-conditioning device is connected through connection pipe ducts to the air-conditioning pipe duct of the clothes so that cold air is driven by a convection fan located at the cooling end of the cooling unit of the air-conditioning device. When it is hot, cool air is delivered into the air-conditioning pipe duct of the air-conditioning clothes and is blown from the air openings to the ambient environment. When it is cold, warm air produced by a heating end converted by the cooling unit and driven by the convection fan to be dispersed into the ambient environment through the air openings provided on the air-conditioning pipe duct of the clothes.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 10, 2009Publication date: January 13, 2011Inventors: Tong-Bou Chang, Deng-Maw Lu, Wen-Yu Yeh, Siou-Ci Syu

Patent number: 5702506Abstract: An aerosol size-selective sampling device is composed of pre-filter, a base housing, and a collector. The device is intended to take an aerosol sample from a given atmospheric air. The pre-filter is composed of two or more porous filtration materials arranged in one end of the base housing in a parallel manner for allowing the atmospheric air to pass therethrough in a parallel and diverting pattern before the atmospheric air is allowed to pass in a converging manner through the collector which is located in another end of the base housing. The pre-filter is able to attain a desired penetration rate profile as a function of an aerodynamic diameter of aerosol contained in the atmospheric air within a predetermined range of aerodynamic diameter.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 1996Date of Patent: December 30, 1997Assignee: Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Council of Labor Affairs, Executive YuanInventors: Tung-Sheng Shih, Wen-Yu Yeh, Chih-Chieh Chen, Chane-Yu Lai
