Publication number: 20220337637Abstract: A communication method comprises that if a policy control device does not support setup of an Internet Protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) default bearer during setup of an IMS default bearer for a terminal, the control plane gateway sends second indication information to a user plane gateway, where the second indication information indicates the control plane gateway bypasses the policy control device. When the user plane gateway receives an IMS session request from the terminal and determines that the control plane gateway bypasses the policy control device, the user plane gateway sends first indication information to the control plane gateway, and the first indication information indicates the control plane gateway to send, to the policy control device, a first request to request to establish a mapping relationship between the terminal and the control plane gateway such that an IMS session can be set up between terminals.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 30, 2022Publication date: October 20, 2022Inventors: Zexu Huang, Guojun Wu, Fan Yang, Wenge Zhang, Tao Qian, Ridong Xu, Shubing Zhang

Patent number: 7652767Abstract: An improved optical sensor and methods for measuring the presence of various materials or constituents in a fluid sample uses reactive material(s) in a fluid environment. The reactive materials have optical properties that change in the presence of a target material that may be present in the environment. An optical emitter generates light that is directed to the reactive materials, and one or more optical detectors receive reflected light from one or more interfaces in the optical path between the emitter and the detector(s), one or more of the interfaces having a reactive material. The reactive material(s), emitter(s), and detector(s) are selected based on the desired target material to be sensed.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2006Date of Patent: January 26, 2010Assignee: Sporian Microsystems, Inc.Inventors: Kevin Harsh, Brian Schaible, Wenge Zhang, William Garrett

Publication number: 20070038778Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for playing audio/video files in a console at a conference in the next generation network. The method includes the following steps: the conference console sends a request for playing the audio/video files to a conference application server; the media resource server determines a media channel between the media resource server and the conference console in accordance with a request sent by the conference application server; the conference console converts a format of media streams of the audio/video files into a format supported by the media resource server, and transfers the converted media streams to the media resource server via the media channel; and the media resource server plays media stream information of the audio/video files to conference terminals. The present invention achieves playing both audio files and video files with an excellent effect, irrespective of whether the local facilities have corresponding functions of playing audio or video files.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 13, 2006Publication date: February 15, 2007Applicant: Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.Inventors: Caixia Miao, Qingchun Shen, Wenge Zhang, Xiaodong Chen, Lei Yuan, Wanjun Shang

Publication number: 20020170290Abstract: A multi-dimensional, micro-electromechanical assembly and the method of fabricating same. The invention enables an assembly of three-dimensional (3D) microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) using surface tension or shrinkage self assembly. That is, the invention provides a surface tension self assembly technique for rotating a MEMS element with a controlled amount of deformation to a selected angle out of the plane of a substrate. In accordance with the inventive method, multi-dimensional, micro-electromechanical assemblies are fabricated by providing a phase change material on at least one substantially planar structure mounted in a first orientation. A phase change is induced in the phase change material whereby the phase change material changes from a first state, in which the structure is disposed in the first orientation, to a second state, in which the structure is disposed in a second orientation. The MEMS elements may be fabricated using conventional surface micromachining techniques.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 3, 2002Publication date: November 21, 2002Inventors: Victor Bright, Kevin Harsh, Paul Kladitis, Yc Lee, Wenge Zhang, Martin L.
