    Abstract: A severity rating system and method for port-wine stains (PWS), the system comprising: an indicator selection and assignment module, an indicator processing module, and a rating module. The indicator selection and assignment module selects rating indicators for divided rating ranges and assigns values to the indicators, the indicator processing module scores the severity of a PWS, and the rating module rates the severity. The severity rating system and method for PWS comprehensively, completely and objectively consider multiple factors that reflect the severity of PWS; in addition, the accuracy and reproducibility of the rating results are high.

    Abstract: An automobile brake control method comprises: obtaining wheel rotation speed sensor information of an automobile within the current measurement period; and when the wheel rotation speed sensor information satisfies a preset condition, allowing the automobile to enter an aquaplane safety logic control mode, and after an ABS operates, allowing the ABS to exit front axle control and merely control a rear axle so that a driver takes over automobile control, until the next measurement period.

    Abstract: A phase transition optical device includes a substrate or a thin film of a ferroelectric material. A transition metal dichalcogenide is disposed over and in contact with the substrate or the thin film. The transition metal dichalcogenide has a semiconducting state with a first optical property and a semimetallic state with a second optical property. The semiconducting state or the semimetal state is selectable by applying a voltage across the ferroelectric material to induce a strain in the transition metal dichalcogenide via the ferroelectric material. A transistor device, integrated memory device, and a phase transition optical device are also described.
