  • Publication number: 20250086913
Abstract: A computing system may include a voxel access engine configured to access voxel data and a voxel processing engine. The voxel processing engine may identify and label thin features in the voxel data, smooth the voxel data to preserve the thin features, and convert the voxel data to form a faceted representation. The voxel processing engine may also adaptively perform a pressing process on the faceted representation. Responsive to a determination that a pressing reapplication criterion is satisfied, the voxel processing engine may modify the voxel data, convert the modified voxel data to form the faceted representation of the object, and perform the pressing process on the faceted representation of the object formed through the modified voxel data.

  • Publication number: 20250038347
Abstract: A battery includes a jelly roll and a case. The case includes a first shell and a second shell; the first shell has an accommodation cavity therein, the first shell is provided with an opening communicated with the accommodation cavity, the jelly roll is disposed in the accommodation cavity, and the second shell blocks the opening. An explosion-proof score is provided in the first shell and/or the second shell. A burst pressure of the explosion-proof score is P, a tensile strength of a material of the case is ?b, a diameter of the first shell (2) is D, a wall thickness of the case is H, and a depth of the explosion-proof score (211) is h. In a case where the explosion-proof score is linear, P = ( H - h ) ? ? b D - 0 . 6 ? ( H - h ) ; or in a case where the explosion-proof score is curved, P = 2 ? ( H - h ) ? ? b D - 1. 2 ? ( H - h ) .

  • Publication number: 20240419863
Abstract: A method of optimizing a process having a plurality of potential inputs, comprising selecting a first set of inputs from the plurality of potential inputs, providing the first set of inputs from the to a first optimization process, running an objective function on the first set of inputs to produce a value corresponding to the set of inputs, providing the value to a second optimization process, running an acquisition function in the second optimization process to select a new candidate set of inputs from the plurality of potential inputs, and providing the selected new candidate set of inputs to the first optimization process. In one embodiment, the inputs are a set of lattice kernels for constructing a structural object. A Bayesian optimization is used to select sub-sets of kernels from the set of inputs. The inputs are provided to a topology optimization for evaluation.

  • Publication number: 20240232454
Abstract: A computing system may include a transition generation engine configured to access a computer-aided design (CAD) object comprising an external surface and an internal lattice structure represented through repeating unit cells of a lattice design, the internal lattice structure represented as a signed distance field (SDF). The transition generation engine may generate a transition structure for the CAD object within a transition distance from the external surface, including by applying a secondary SDF to modify a portion of the internal lattice structure within the transition distance from the external surface. The computing system may also include an object processing engine may be configured to process the CAD object comprising the transition structure (230) in support of physical manufacture of the CAD object.

  • Patent number: 6651068
Abstract: An event database table architecture includes an event table having information such as, for example, date, time, and activity. An event table has a field for identifying one of a plurality of participating tables, and a field for identifying a row within the identified participating table. A participant table has a field for identifying one of a plurality of participating tables, a second field for identifying a row within the identified participating table, a role code, and a row number identifying the event in the event table. Thus, each entry in the participant table relates to a unitary entry in the event table and also relates to a unitary row in one of the participating tables. Each event, participant, and act of participating can be accessed from any other related data item without accessing extraneous or unrelated data items.
