Abstract: A method, an apparatus and a computer readable medium for zooming and operating screen frame are provided. In the method, a first touch operation that slides from a first edge region of a full screen frame displayed by a touch screen into the touch screen is received, so as to execute a first function on an electronic apparatus, and a second touch operation that slides from a second edge region of a zoomed frame displayed by the touch screen into the zoomed frame, so as to execute a second function on the zoomed frame. Therein, a size of the zoomed frame is smaller than a size of the full screen frame.

Abstract: A gesture manipulation method and a multimedia player apparatus is disclosed in this disclosure. The gesture manipulation method is suitable for a multimedia player apparatus with touch input function. The gesture manipulation method includes steps of: detecting a gesture input while the multimedia player apparatus is playing a video file or a video stream; and, when the gesture input includes a specific amount of finger contacts and the finger contacts relatively move in a specific pattern, executing a corresponding function on the multimedia player apparatus. Accordingly, the user interface of the multimedia player apparatus adopting some intuitive gestures can be easy to understand.

Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a TV module and a touch screen module. The TV module is used for receiving a first TV image signal on a first selected channel. The touch screen module is in communication with the TV module and controlled by the TV module for displaying a program frame corresponding to the first image signal in a full-screen mode. The TV module receives a second TV image signal on a second selected channel in response to a handwriting operation on the touch screen module during the full-screen mode.

Abstract: A method for controlling a photographing apparatus is provided. The photographing apparatus includes a touch screen. In the method, it is first detected whether a user keeps touching a focus point on the touch screen for a specific duration. If the detected result is YES, the photographing apparatus is controlled to perform an automatic focusing procedure corresponding to the focus point and then an automatic photographing procedure.

Abstract: A method of showing a TV channel menu includes the following steps. Firstly, an audience evaluation data including a first audience rating of a first TV program and a second audience rating of a second TV program is received. Then, the TV channel menu is opened. Afterwards, the TV channel menu including a first displaying block corresponding to the first TV program and a second displaying block corresponding to the second TV program is shown on a screen. If the first audience rating is higher than the second audience rating, the first display block has a higher conspicuous degree than the second displaying block.

Abstract: Mobile communication devices are provided. A mobile communication device comprises a main surface and a touch screen acting as the only input interface on the main surface. When the mobile communication device is in a communication mode, the touch screen displays a first image through which users input data and execute a communication function. When the mobile communication is in an additional function mode, the touch screen displays a second image through which users input data and execute an additional function.
