Preferred compositions comprise a xylanase of glycoside hydrolase family 11, and an endoglucanase which is homologous to a thermostable glycoside hydrolase family 5 endoglucanase derived from Thermoascus aurantiacus. Preferred xylanases are derived from Aspergillus, Bacillus, Humicola, Thermomyces and Trichoderma. The composition is particularly useful for animal feed purposes.
