  • Publication number: 20220372471
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are drawn to apparatuses, systems, and methods for enrichment and separation of nucleic acids by size. A sample may include a mixture of nucleic acids of various sizes, and the nucleic acids of interest may be below a particular size threshold. An example enrichment method may include mixing the sample with a first substrate (e.g., magnetic beads). The method may include separating nucleic acids above a first size threshold form a remainder of the sample using the first substrate. The method may include mixing the nucleic acids in the remainder of the sample (e.g., nucleic acids below’ the size threshold) with a second substrate and recovering the nucleic acids below the first size threshold from the second substrate.

  • Patent number: 8867522
Abstract: The present invention discloses a multi-frame synchronization method, the method comprises: for each received sub-frame, a receiver determining a probability that the received sub-frame is each of sub-frames in a multi-frame, a sub-frame with maximum probability being a state of the currently received sub-frame after N sub-frames are received. The present invention further discloses a receiving apparatus for multi-frame synchronization comprising a calculation module; wherein the calculation module is configured to calculate a probability that a received sub-frame is each of sub-frames in a multi-frame, and determine a state of the currently received sub-frame based on a sub-frame with maximum probability after N sub-frames are received. The present invention effectively achieves a position for multi-frame synchronization and low calculation complexity.

  • Patent number: 8867443
Abstract: The invention provides a method and an apparatus for estimating frequency deviation, the method comprising: after receiving a sub-frame, transforming a downlink synchronized code of the sub-frame to a frequency domain, and performing a correlation operation between the transformed downlink synchronized code and a local frequency domain synchronized code to obtain a conjugate downlink synchronized code sequence; judging a location of a maximum value in the conjugate downlink synchronized code sequence, and calculating a frequency deviation value according to the location of the maximum value. The estimating method provided in the invention can realize a stable work with no need of a precise sampling value location, an accurate timing synchronization, or even obtaining the information for the multi-path distribution and locations.

  • Patent number: 8750256
Abstract: A method for configuring a service and a method and apparatus for rate matching in a TD-SCDMA system, this method for configuring the service includes: taking that a check bit puncturing ratio should be more than 7i+a or less than 7i?a as a newly added constraint condition, and the check bit puncturing ratios of each configured service being outside a range of [7i+a, 7i?a], the method for rate matching includes: when puncturing each path of check bits of the current data block, if a difference between a position Pk of kth reserved check bit calculated according to a method defined by the service and a previously determined position NPk?1 of k?1th reserved check bit is a positive integral multiple of 7, determining a position NPk of kth reserved check bit as Pk plus 1 or Pk minus 1, and Pk plus 1 and Pk minus 1 requiring carrying out alternately.

  • Publication number: 20140088942
Abstract: A computer-implemented bioinformatics program annotates human genetic variants by integrating multiple sources of information. The program rapidly filters variants that are unlikely to play a role in the etiology of particular diseases. This filtering may be performed based on such annotations, on clinical profiles and family histories, and on analyses under various inheritance models, in order to classify human variants and identify mutations influencing patients' diseases.

  • Publication number: 20130116957
Abstract: The disclosure discloses a fine frequency offset estimation method and apparatus. The method comprises: calculating a first accumulated estimation value corresponding to a first multiframe state according to a phase relevant value of a subframe and a phase of a subframe in the first multiframe state; calculating a second accumulated estimation value corresponding to a second multiframe state according to the phase relevant value of the subframe and a phase of a subframe in the second multiframe state; determining that a decision result of a multiframe state is the first multiframe state or the second multiframe state according to the first accumulated estimation value and the second accumulated estimation value; and performing a fine frequency offset estimation according to the decision result of the multiframe state. The apparatus disclosed in the disclosure is less coupled with other modules, has excellent performance in various environments, and realizes the unbiased estimation of timing offset.
