The electrode assembly includes a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, a separator, an insulation layer, and an adhesive layer. The positive electrode plate, the separator, and the negative electrode plate are stacked and wound, and the electrode assembly has bent regions. At least a portion of the insulation layer and at least a portion of the adhesive layer are disposed in the bent region, and the insulation layer is adhered to the positive electrode plate or the negative electrode plate through the adhesive layer. In a thickness direction of the insulation layer, a projected area of the adhesive layer is smaller than a projected area of the insulation layer.
