Abstract: A computer case with adjustable hard disk drive and interface card accommodation space is provided. The computer case includes a frame, an optic disk drive rack, two fixed hard disk drive racks, and interface card slots into which interface cards may be plugged. A removable hard disk drive holder that carries hard disk drives is additionally arranged inside the computer case in a removable manner. By removing the removable hard disk drive holder, an open and unoccupied space is left inside the computer case to partly receive the interface cards that are plugged to the interface card slots. Thus, in an attempt to adopt high performance interface cards that are of a great size, the removable hard disk drive holder is removed and the unoccupied space so formed is turned into a space for partly accommodating the interface cards.

Abstract: A fastener band assembly is provided for fastening an object carried on a main board received inside an enclosure. The fastener band assembly includes male-structured fastener band and a female-structured fastener band, each having an end forming a ring through which a hole is defined for fixing the bands to the main board with the bolts that fix the main board to the enclosure. The male-structure fastener band has a surface forming a serrated structure. The female-structured fastener band has an end forming a locking structure through which a bore is defined and receives a resilient pawl mounted therein. The serrated structure is receivable in the bore of the locking structure for engagement with the pawl thereby fastening an object, such as an interface card or a heat sink positioned under the fastener bands, to the main board, when the fastener bands are tightly stretched.

Abstract: A computer enclosure includes a SATA-interfaced HDD connector formed thereon for direct and releasable connection with an external SATA-interfaced HDD. The connector is electrically connected to a main board and a power supply arranged inside the enclosure and forms a power cable connection socket and a signal cable connection socket that are releasably engagable with end connectors of a flat power cable and a flat signal cable from the external SATA-interfaced HDD. Thus, the SATA-interfaced HDD is electrically connectable to the main board of the computer in an external HDD case free manner.
