    Abstract: A barcode decoding system decodes item identifiers from images of barcodes. The barcode decoding system receives an image of a barcode and rotates the image to a pre-determined orientation. The barcode decoding system also may segment the barcode image to emphasize the portions of the image that correspond to the barcode. The barcode decoding system generates a binary sequence representation of the item identifier encoded in the barcode by applying a barcode classifier model to the barcode image, and decodes the item identifier from the barcode based on the binary sequence representation.

At least a portion of the getter support may include a coating comprising silicon carbide (SiC) having a thickness of at least about 50 microns. The getter support may be arranged to be disposed a maximum distance of between about 1 mm and about 10 mm from the susceptor support ring.

    Abstract: A dynamic stability control method for power systems with renewable energy, in which a non-linear system of a grid-forming inverter corresponding to a renewable energy power system is created. An external subsystem corresponding to the grid-forming inverter is constructed based on a Lie derivative. According to the external subsystem, a linear sliding surface corresponding to the external subsystem is constructed, and a dynamic stability control unit corresponding to the external subsystem is generated based on sliding mode control. A first instruction data corresponding to the dynamic stability control unit is generated to control dynamic stability of the renewable energy power system in real time. The voltage instruction value of the grid-forming inverter is modified to improve the dynamic stability of the renewable energy power system. A system for implementing such method is also provided.

A transient stability Lyapunov function corresponding to the renewable energy power system is constructed in real time based on the first matrix and the second matrix. The transient stability of the renewable energy power system is controlled and enhanced in real time based on the first control signal. The first control signal is an adaptive voltage control signal of the renewable energy power system.

    Abstract: A wireless communication device has a receiver to listen to a sequence of channels. A controller responds to a preamble being detected on a first channel while the receiver is tuned to the first channel by causing the receiver to stay on the first channel and decode packet(s) associated with the preamble. The controller responds to detection of a first symbol of a first transmission protocol and the preamble not being detected to cause the receiver to stay on the first channel for a predetermined time waiting for a retry. The controller responds to detection of a second symbol of a second transmission protocol and the preamble not being detected to cause the receiver to switch to an advertising channel of the second transmission protocol. If no preambles, noise, or symbols are detected, the receiver switches to listening to a next channel in the sequence after a fixed time.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a thoroughly smooth urban traffic system, which has a two-dimensional urban plane and a road with two main directions which are perpendicular or nearly perpendicular to each other. On an underground first layer, the road in the first main direction is occupied separately, and all automobiles, subways, trains and municipal corridors in this direction are roughly parallel without level crossing, and are smooth. On an underground second layer, the road in the second main direction is occupied separately, and all automobiles, subways, trains and municipal corridors in this direction are roughly parallel without level crossing, and are smooth. The underground layers can be provided with urban sufficient parking lots. An underground third layer is used for non-motor vehicle roads, parking and a large-scale reservoir. On a ground plane layer, only houses, plants, people, open-air bars, etc. are exposed in the sun, to establish a veritable urban park.
