The method includes: receiving first DCI sent by a network device, where the first DCI includes a quantity of layers for transmitting first data through a PDSCH, and under a first condition, the quantity of layers of the first data is less than or equal to N1; and under a second condition, the quantity of layers of the first data is less than or equal to N2, N1 is less than N2, N2 is a maximum quantity of layers, for transmitting data through the PDSCH, supported by a terminal device, and N1 is a positive integer; and receiving the first data sent by the network device, and demodulating the first data based on the first DCI. Therefore reducing radio frequency power consumption of the terminal device.

The method includes: sending, by a network device, control information corresponding to target data to a terminal device on a control resource, where the control resource and a data resource have a correspondence, and the control resource is used by the terminal device to determine the data resource on which the target data is received; and sending, by the network device based on the correspondence, the target data to the terminal device on the data resource. In the embodiments, after sending the control information corresponding to the target data on the control resource, the network device can send the target data on the data resource based on the correspondence between the control resource and the data resource, so that terminal devices having different bandwidth capabilities are able to receive the target data.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a wireless data transmission method, including: obtaining a repetition quantity required for data transmission of each user equipment (UE) in a management range, and determining a round trip time (RTT) of the UE according to obtained repetition quantity information of the UE, process quantity information of the UE, and a transmission time interval (TTI). A repetition quantity required by a UE may be learned of by using repetition quantity information of the UE. Therefore, for a coverage capability of each UE, each RTT can include as few processes as possible, provided that a requirement of the UE for a repetition quantity is met. In this way, a probability of successful data decoding may be efficiently improved, thereby efficiently improving a coverage capability of UE in wireless communication.

The method includes: performing coding and modulation on data; mapping the modulated data onto M carriers, where M is an integer greater than 1, a carrier spacing of the M carriers is greater than or equal to a data rate, and the carrier spacing is a spacing between center frequencies of two carriers; performing spectrum spreading, scrambling, and precoding processing on data mapped onto each carrier; performing multi-carrier modulation on the spread, scrambled, and precoding processed data; and sending the multi-carrier modulated data to a receiving apparatus. According to the data transmission method, apparatus, and system provided by the present invention, a carrier frequency offset sensitivity problem may be resolved, thereby improving reliability of a communications system.
