  • Publication number: 20090142763
Abstract: The application describes a novel method for detection of a single nucleotide polymorphism, e.g., the 158 F/V polymorphism, in the Fc?RIIIa gene using nested PCR to amplify large gene amplicons to aid in, e.g., genotyping applications. Thus, based on the results obtained in Fc?RIIIa genotyping analysis, the present invention provides specific, efficient, reproducible, and accurate detection of such polymorphisms in genomic DNA.
