  • Publication number: 20060129293
Abstract: The invention relates to a method that permits the determination of a steering-wheel torque for the steering wheel of a motor vehicle. A steering angle is predefined by the driver for the steered wheels by means of the steering wheel. A steering torque that represents the forces on the vehicle axis acts on the steering wheel. According to the invention, a manual torque (M_desired) is determined using at least one axle model. The manual torque is then superimposed on the steering-wheel torque M_actual).

  • Publication number: 20060015226
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining a steering torque which acts when a steering wheel is activated in motor vehicles. In a motor vehicle, the steering torque which acts when a steering wheel is activated is determined. The motor vehicle here is in particular a motor vehicle whose steered wheels are driven. In this context, according to one method according to the invention the interference torque component (M_stör), based on interference influences, of the steering torque is determined. A steering torque (M_soll) with reduced interference force, in particular free of the influence of an interference force, is then generated at the steering wheel by means of a torque generator (108).

  • Publication number: 20050273209
Abstract: The device according to the invention relates to a device for making available parameters which are taken into account during the regulation and/or control of a parameter which describes and/or influences the movement of a vehicle. The parameters which are made available are vehicle movement parameters which describe the movement of the vehicle and/or underlying surface parameters which describe the quality and/or the course of the underlying surface. The device according to the invention contains sensing means with which first vehicle movement parameters are sensed, and computing means with which second vehicle movement parameters and/or underlying surface parameters are determined at least as a function of the first vehicle movement parameters. The sensing means and the computing means are spatially combined to form one physical unit.

  • Publication number: 20050182548
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for detecting parameters characterizing the driving behavior of a vehicle, according to which at least one vehicle speed parameter, which represents at least one parameter (?y) describing the lateral velocity, and/or a roadway parameter describing the quality and/or the course of the roadway is/are detected at least according to one parameter (ax) describing the longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle, a parameter (ay) describing the lateral acceleration of the vehicle, a parameter ({dot over (?)}) describing the yaw rate of the vehicle, a parameter (?, ?Rad,i) characterizing the steering lock of the steered wheels, and parameters (?Rad,i) describing the rotation speeds of the vehicle wheels by means of an estimation method. A parameter (vx) describing ongitudinal velocity of the vehicle is detected as an additional vehicle speed parameter.

  • Publication number: 20040076502
Abstract: The present invention relates to a large-size manipulator, and also to truck-mounted concrete pumps with such a large-size manipulator, that comprises a boom (1) made up of several (2 to 5) and especially 3 to 5 segments and arranged on a frame, especially a vehicle frame, said boom being especially designed as a foldable distribution boom that preferably comprises a slewing track ring (6), so that by means of a driving unit it can be rotated about a substantially vertical axis of rotation, where the boom segments, by means of further driving units, can be swivelled with respect to each other and with respect to the slewing track ring about substantially horizontal and mutually parallel axes, where a distant steering system comprising a steering organ is provided to operate the driving units and to set a desired position of the driving units and/or the boom segments and the slewing track ring, where there is also provided a control system that comprises at least one monitoring unit (15) to ascertain a paramet
