Abstract: A deflection fitting for safety belts of motor vehicles, in which the opening for the lower belt is constructed as a belt guidance independent of the belt guidance for the chest belt and is arranged spatially separate therefrom while both belt guidances are arranged laterally spaced from the longitudinal center axis of the lock tongue, whereby both belt guidances are inclined with respect to one another and with respect to the longitudinal center axis of the lock tongue.

Abstract: A push button for locks of safety belts whose top side closes off flush with the housing receiving the same or is arranged recessed in the housing; the lateral guide surfaces of the push button and the corresponding guide surfaces in the lock housing are thereby provided with a large number of projecting and recessed areas.

Abstract: A flank protection for the protection of passengers from impacts of lateral areas of motor vehicles comprises a vehicle body side wall having a window, such as a door, wherein reinforcement for preventing excessive penetration of the vehicle by other vehicles is located solely in lower areas of the side wall, particularly in an outer body part, while an upper side wall portion is formed of inner and outer body parts, preferably above a belt line of the vehicle, are composed of resilient portions that are yieldable to the absorption of outwardly directed reaction forces applied by an occupant against said body parts above said belt line.

Abstract: An arrangement for the accommodation of winter sport equipment items, such as skis and accessories, e.g., ski poles and ski boots, on carriers secured to the roof of a motor vehicle. Two luggage-like containers disposed adjacent one another are thereby arranged on the carriers, of which one is provided on the inside with mounting supports for skis and is open toward the rear while the other is constructed for receiving ski poles and ski boots.

Abstract: A motor vehicle body, especially for passenger motor vehicles, which is provided with laterally arranged doors and longitudinal bearers disposed therebelow whereby an upper area of the longitudinal bearer projects laterally outwardly beyond the lower area, and the upper area is at least partially covered off by the lower edge of the door or by a sealing profile secured at the lower edge of the door and is thus protected against soiling; the lower edge of the door or the sealing profile secured at the lower edge of the door thereby does not abut the longitudinal bearer but extends at a distance with respect thereto.

Abstract: A motor vehicle provided with a hatch-back door closing off a storage space, in which two blinds arranged in a common housing are provided whose axes of rotation extend in the transverse direction. The blind serving the separation of the passenger space from the storage space is adapted to be suspended in its pulled-out position within the roof area, while the free end of the blind serving to cover the stored items is fastened within the area of the hatch-back door.

Abstract: A motor vehicle, especially a passenger motor vehicle which includes a windshield frame and a rigid section of the vehicle body upper part that can be displaced rearwardly in the vehicle longitudinal direction and is guided inside of the fixed side walls of the vehicle body lower part; the guide means for the displaceable section of the vehicle body upper part are thereby arranged laterally to the rear of the side doors while the displaceable section is adapted to be placed sealingly against the windshield frame when pushed forwardly into its closed position.

Abstract: A hollow bearer for a passenger motor vehicle which extends in the vehicle transverse direction underneath the rear window, which is constructed as channel for the air exhaust and which, except for the offset connecting areas on the side of the rear columns, consists of three profiled sheet-metal members non-detachably connected with each other; the first, rear upper sheet-metal member is thereby provided with a support flange for the rear window while the second sheet-metal member which is equipped with inlet openings for the exhaust air, adjoins the support flange in the direction of a forward hat storage shelf; the first and second sheet-metal members are then completed into an air guide channel by a closure sheet-metal member disposed therebelow whereby the closure sheet-metal member forms the rear termination of a bearer sheet-metal member for the hat storage shelf.

Abstract: A seat, particularly a co-driver seat in a motor vehicle with a seat-adjusting mechanism effective in the vehicle longitudinal direction in which the seat-adjusting mechanism, when exceeding a predetermined load which is effective forwardly in the displacement direction, automatically initiates an adjusting movement of the seat in the same direction by a predetermined amount if the seat is occupied by a person whose safety belt is not fastened.

Abstract: An installation for the rapid release of a retaining system in vehicles, especially in motor vehicles with a passive safety belt system, in which at least one actuating mechanism is provided at a readily accessible place of the vehicle body, by way of which a release of the safety belt system can be initiated from the outside of the vehicle.
