  • Patent number: 5132849
Abstract: A cursor magnifying glass arrangement has a support body for holding a magnifying glass body having a cylindrical portion and a lens section. The cylindrical portion is rotationally symmetrical with respect to the cylindrical axis and is convexly curved. An evaluation coil is disposed coaxially to the cylindrical portion. The lens body is removably, preferably interconnectedly, supported in the support body, and the evaluation coil is fixed on the support body radially outside of the path of the edge light beam of the lens section.

  • Patent number: 5021933
Abstract: A magnifying glass device has a lens body comprised of a cylindrical portion and a convexly curved lens section both of which are rotationally symmetrical with respect to the cylindrical axis of the cylindrical portion. In the area between the circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion and the path of an edge light beam of the lens section passing through the cylindrical portion, at least one lamp is provided. An air gap is formed in the central area between facing surfaces of the cylindrical portion and the lens section. The light emitted by the lamp is substantially totally reflected by the facing surface of the cylindrical portion. Therefore, the lamp will not be seen by the user, but will provide good illumination for the surface viewed through the magnifying glass device.

  • Patent number: 4693554
Abstract: An improved sensor magnifying glass apparatus having a magnifying glass element (1) held in a holder element (4) and comprising a cylindrical portion (2) with a superposed convex curved lens portion (3) that is rotationally symmetrical with the cylinder axis (19). A plotter coil (11) is secured to the cylindrical portion (2) in the region between that portion's circumferential face and the course of a peripheral light ray (20') through the cylindrical portion (2) that enters the lens portion (3).

  • Patent number: 4295146
Abstract: An improved device for translational movement of automatic drawing machine tools of the type having a frame connected to a drawing machine, a permanent magnet system, and a controlling plunger attached for free movement, with respect to said frame. The plunger is interconnected to a tool carrier which accepts a writing tool in a manner wherein an electromagnetic control coil around the plunger and the tool carrier are moved by a mechanical linkage, pivoted upon said frame, so that the plunger and the carrier are simultaneously moved in opposite directions. The linkage preferably comprises a closed band, which runs around and over two deflection rollers, so that its mutually opposing and essentially parallel side portions are respectively connected to the tool carrier and the plunger. The interconnecting linkage also includes means to statically compensate for the different weights of the plunger and carrier.

  • Patent number: 4098051
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of, and apparatus for packing a plurality of separate articles in a single package surrounded by a cover of shrunk-on foil. In a preferred embodiment, the articles to be packed are stacked, in a first guide forming a shaft open at its upper end, upon a supporting base loosely fitted in the shaft, whereupon the first guide is enclosed in a cover of shrinkable foil closed at its upper end and the first guide is enclosed externally by a second guide, the first guide being then separated from the assembly comprising the articles, the supporting base, the foil cover and the second guide in such a way that relative to the first guide, the articles and the supporting base pass through the open end of the shaft while the second guide, the cover, the stack and the supporting base maintain their relative positions. This assembly is then passed to an oven to shrink the foil cover, before the second guide is removed from the finished package.
