    Abstract: An electromagnetically actuated piston slide valve includes a piston slide arrangement with a piston which is axially displaceable for regulating a free cross section of a fluid passage of the valve. The piston slide arrangement contains a first magnetic armature connected to the piston and a second magnetic armature which is axially displaceable with respect to the piston. The piston is axially displaceable against the force of a first biasing spring by generating an electromagnetic field through energizing a coil. A second biasing spring rests against the first magnetic armature and the second magnetic armature, so, in the unenergized state of the coil, the piston takes a predetermined position by axial displacement due to the force of the first biasing device against the force of the first biasing device. A permanent magnet generates an attractive force between the first and the second magnetic armature which counteracts the second biasing spring.

The actuating element comprises an armature and a ram extending in axial direction and is so mounted in the stator by means of at least one spring element that it can be moved axially in frictionless fashion when the coil is fed with current. The actuating element comprises a support element of a non-magnetic light-weight construction material extending in radial direction between the armature and the ram. Advantageously, the armature is provided only in such regions where there run magnetically relevant field lines of the electromagnetic field of the coil.

In the pressure-sensing bore (9) is axially displaceably disposed a pressure-sensing pin (10) and pushes, when pressure P1 is greater than pressure P2, the slide piston (5) into its open position. Thereby the free cross-sectional area of the fluid passage openings (7) increases, and the pressure loss ?P=P1?P2 decreases correspondingly.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a directly controlled magnetic valve, comprising a fixed core which is located in a magnet and a moving armature to which a seal plate is fixed by means of a tappet. When the valve is activated, the seal plate interacts with a valve seat which is fixed to the housing. Corresponding sealing elements are provided on the seal plate and on the valve seat and at least the tappet and the seal plate have bores which are situated centrally in the longitudinal direction. The aim of the invention is to produce a magnetic valve which has a large nominal width allowing a small construction volume, a low power requirement, rapid pressure compensation and rapid switching. To this end, second sealing elements which correspond with each other are provided on a front face which is permanently connected to the armature and on an adjacent face which is fixed to the housing.

The conductive foil assembly has a base material in the form of an electrically insulating sheet configured to extend from the heating element in the oil burner nozzle to an access position accessible from outside the oil burner nozzle. Foil conductors are disposed on the electrically insulating sheet and extend from the access position to the heating element. Another electrically insulating sheet selectively covers the foil conductor in a sandwiched arrangement. The conductive foil assembly is folded around the heating element and portions of the foil conductors are placed into electrical contact with the heating element via non-insulated areas of the foil conductors provided by the selective covering.
