  • Patent number: 4926915
Abstract: An ampul comprising a container having a reduced neck which supports an integral closure part that is removable by tearing away frangible portions. The neck can be sealingly applied over the seating cone of a hypodermic syringe whereby the syringe and ampul are firmly joined as one unit. The ampul is preferably produced as a single piece of a thermoplastic synthetic such as polypropylene whereby the ampul neck has sufficient elastic ductility to be elastically expanded by applying it to the seating cone of the syringe, thereby to assure a firm coherence. To permit air to enter to container when suctioning off the ampul contents, the ampul neck has on its inside an axial ventilating means.

  • Patent number: 4469234
Abstract: A closure for bottles or other containers with a threaded neck comprises an internally threaded plastic cap adapted to be screwed onto that neck with the aid of a socket wrench, the rim of the cap being connected via several frangible webs with a telltale ring of like material carrying a set of peripherally spaced-apart lugs with inbent extremities elastically hooked onto a peripherally projecting flanges of the container neck to prevent an unscrewing of the cap without detachment of the telltale ring therefrom. The ring, which has notches engageable by the socket wrench for positive entrainment, is integral with a skirt spacedly surrounding the lugs and projecting beyond them to forestall any attempt at disengaging their extremities from the flange before unscrewing the cap.

  • Patent number: 4330067
Abstract: A container closure comprising cap means adapted for a turning on and off connection with holding means provided at the container opening to be closed, such as screw connection or bayonet connection, said cap means containing an outer cap means having elements for manupulation and an inner cap means having elements of said turning on and off connection and being mounted substantially within said outer cap means to be turned in and to be pushed into said outer cap means to a limited extent against the force of a spring, cooperating turning coupling elements, provided at said inner and outer cap means to be in engagement with each other when said inner cap means has been pushed axially into the outer cap means, cooperating supporting means at said inner and outer cap means comprising a supporting band extending round the circumference at the open end of said inner cap means to substantially improve supporting and guiding the said outer and inner cap means for their relative movements, and cooperating catch elem

  • Patent number: 4134511
Abstract: A nonrefillable container for medication and other liquid, pasty or granulated products to be kept sterile has a body of flexible resinous material, such as polyethylene or polypropylene, with a neck terminating in a solid tip which is integrally connected therewith via a reduced wall portion forming a frangible annular link whose rupture creates an outlet for the contents. The neck is surrounded in an airtight manner by a protective cap forming a socket firmly gripping the tip, the socket and the tip being of mating noncircular cross-section whereby rotation of the cap facilitates rupture of the link and withdrawal of the cap with the tip attached thereto. The cap and the neck may have complementary annular formations which interengage when, after break-off of the tip, the neck is pushed deeper into the cap than theretofore.
