  • Publication number: 20240192167
Abstract: Capillary electrophoresis apparatus, comprising: (a) a supply capillary (4); (b) a degassing conduit (6); (c) a separation capillary (8); wherein the supply capillary (4), the degassing conduit (6), and separation capillary (8) each have an inlet and an outlet connected to the inlet via a channel, wherein in particular the respective channel is adapted to conduct a liquid from the corresponding inlet to the connected outlet; wherein the supply capillary (4), the degassing conduit (6), and the separation capillary (8) are connected to each other to form a continuous channel by means of which in particular liquid may be conducted from the inlet of the supply capillary (4) to the outlet of the separation capillary (8); an injection port (18) for feeding sample substance into the separation capillary (8); a pump (1), by means of which electrolyte solution may be conveyed from a reservoir (3) and pumped in the direction of and/or through the continuous channel; a first electrode (12) which extends within the degas

  • Patent number: 11480551
Abstract: A sample delivery system for liquid chromatography is provided. The sample delivery system includes: a sample receptacle; a sample aspiration cannula for aspirating a sample located in the sample receptacle, the sample aspiration cannula being directed using a drive in a direction towards the sample receptacle so that a tip at a distal end of the sample aspiration cannula is immersed in the sample; and a guide element for the sample aspiration cannula provided above the sample receptacle, the guide element being designed as a washing device. The sample aspiration cannula can be retracted using the drive at least so far from the sample receptacle such that the distal end of the sample aspiration cannula may be cleaned in the washing device.

  • Patent number: 7213615
Abstract: The rotating valve for high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) has a stator with connections for the solvent reservoirs, pumps, chromatography columns etc. and a disc-shaped rotor with connecting grooves on the front face for selectively connecting different connections to one another. Said grooves are evenly distributed on two concentrical circles. The connecting grooves on the front face of the rotor are configured in the form of circular segments and are arranged in such a way that fife connections are simultaneously connected to one another in defined positions of the rotor in each circle.

  • Patent number: 6652813
Abstract: In a reaction chamber is located a platform for receiving individual samples and sample racks. The reaction chamber can be heated, cooled and evacuated. The samples are then radiation heated. The sample platform is shaken by magnetic coupling. The individual sample containers/reaction containers may be filled or emptied in use thorough ducts. The system has applications in the field of chemical combinatory synthesis, as evaporator or for related applications.

  • Patent number: 6482363
Abstract: The invention relates to a system that feeds gaseous or liquid media into moveable sample vessels or reaction vessels in vacuum centrifuges or reaction chambers that are provided with an integrated shaker. An adapter plate fitted with needles that are allocated to individual vessels is arranged inside the centrifuge or reaction chamber above the sample vessels. The adapter plate is provided with a system for the introduction of the gaseous or liquid medium. The height of the adapter plate can be adjusted. This enables the depth at which the needles are introduced into the sample vessels to be chosen at will.
