  • Publication number: 20110000742
Abstract: A device (70) for evacuating people from a building is provided with a rescue member via which people can be brought from an upper storey of the building (2) to ground level (28). The rescue member has at least one rope (20), belt or similar, which is let down from the upper storey of the building (2) along the building wall to ground level (28). At specified intervals on this rope (20), support members (31) are arranged with which, in each of the storeys, a carrying element (32) can be connected, on which at least one person is held. The carrying elements (32) are automatically detachable in an area close to ground level (28). This device (7?) enables people to be evacuated safely and easily.

  • Patent number: 7556124
Abstract: A device for evacuating people from a building (2). The device includes a part that can be placed into a functional position from a non-functional position. In the functional position, the device forms a rescue channel (29) leading from an upper floor of a building to ground level (20). The part forming the rescue channel (29) is embodied as a tube (7) which is folded together in the non-functional position. The tube extends in an essentially vertical manner with respect to the building wall (22), and braking devices are provided for the safe conveyance of people through the rescue channel (29) to ground level (20).

  • Publication number: 20060151240
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for evacuating people from a building (2) comprising a part which can be placed into a functional position from a non-functional position. In the functional position, said part forms a rescue channel (29) leading from an upper floor of a building to a floor area (20). The part forming the rescue channel (29) is embodied as a tube (7) which is folded together when in the non-functional position, said tube extending in an essentially vertical manner with respect to the building wall (22) when in the functional position. Braking means are provided for the safe conveyance of people through the rescue channel (29) to the floor area (20). As a result of said device, people in an emergency situation, for example a fire, can be evacuated from a building in a fast and secure manner.

  • Patent number: 5642821
Abstract: A mobile crane includes an undercarriage or lower crane carrying chassis, an upper load lifting and carrying chassis pivotally mounted on the lower chassis, a cab located on the upper chassis for operating the crane, a base section that can be swivelled about a horizontal axis, and a separate boom attachable to a free or operating end of the base section. The base section has a novel, essentially one-piece construction that is designed in such a manner that with it alone especially crane operations can be performed. Attachment devices for attaching the separate boom are provided on the free end of the base section. The base section extends virtually over the entire length of the lower chassis. Thus, maximum loads and maximum lifts can be obtained with universal and versatile application.
