    Abstract: A method warns a driver of a vehicle about exceeding of a speed limit. First of all, it is determined whether a speed limit is present and what the driving speed of the vehicle is. If the driving speed of the vehicle is greater than the driving speed which is permissible according to the speed limit, a warning signal of a first type is emitted. Subsequently, the reaction of the driver to the warning signal of the first type is determined. A warning signal of a second type is emitted in a time-delayed manner, or the emitting of the warning signal of the second type is suppressed, depending on the reaction of the driver to the warning signal of the first type. A vehicle carries out a method of this type.

    Abstract: A method controls a functional device of a motor vehicle by a control device. The control device has a rotary actuator which is rotationally mounted on a retaining element. The rotary actuator has at least one coding element. With the method an absolute rotational angle is detected between the rotary actuator and the retaining element based on a coding of the at least one coding element. A plurality of latch positions are defined for the rotary actuator in the rotational direction thereof. The respective latch position and the absolute rotational angle between two of the latch positions are detected, based on the coding of the at least one coding element. The functional device is controlled in accordance with the detected absolute rotational angle if the rotary actuator is between two of the latch positions.

A storage line (8) with a variable receiving capacity is provided as well as carrier plates (11) for receiving the individual products. The carrier plates (11) can move freely within the store (1). A first input elevator (4) is provided in the area of the input station (2) and an output elevator (5) in the area of the output station (3) for building or working through full stacks (26) of carrier plates (11). The storage line (8) between the elevators (4, 5) is designed for the joint conveying of the full stack (26) congested in front of the output elevator (5) allocated to the output station (3).A transfer belt (6) and a return conveyor for full stacks (26) is located between each elevator and the storage line (8). Separate drives are provided for the elevators (4, 5), the transfer conveyor (6), the return conveyor and the storage path (8).
