Abstract: A drug delivery device is provided, including a housing, a drug storage container, a plunger, a plunger biasing member, a releaser, and a shock absorber. The housing defines a longitudinal axis and has an opening. The drug storage container includes a barrel, a stopper, and a delivery member, where the stopper is movably positioned within the barrel. The delivery member is positioned at a distal end of the barrel and has an insertion end configured to extend at least partially through the opening during a delivery state. The plunger is moveable toward the distal end of the drug storage container to engage the stopper and expel a drug from the drug storage container through the delivery member. The plunger biasing member is coupled with the plunger and configured to urge the plunger toward the distal end of the drug storage container.

Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a computer implemented method and device for providing a user with easy access to a plurality of frequently accessed resources. The invention provides a user agent (e.g., web browser) in which certain data resources (e.g., web pages) are displayed as thumbnail images within particular locations of a window. A user invocable instruction (e.g., mouse click or a particular keystroke combination) may be associated with each of the thumbnail images or locations in the window. Accordingly, the user may access a desired data resource by performing the user invocable instruction associated with the corresponding thumbnail image or location.

Abstract: A modular climbing tree that includes a plurality of poles and connecting components configured for connecting the poles and accessories. At least one connecting component has a first connecting part configured for fastening to a pole or surface and an opposite second connecting part having at least one male coupling element and at least one female coupling element for engaging and locking with mating coupling elements of another connecting component. The male and female coupling elements on opposing connecting components are engaged to interlock. Thereafter the opposite connecting components are rotated about their common axis to further lock together in a detachable manner.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for automatically generating smoothed characteristic diagrams for electronic engine controls of internal combustion piston engines. The invention is characterized in that the adjustment variable combination of the individual successive operating points are input by means of a motor control to a reference internal combustion piston engine by entering specified values of the boundary conditions for the operation of an internal combustion piston engine. According to the invention, the reference internal combustion piston engine is operated in this operating point, and the actual values and/or boundary conditions occurring during the same are acquired and compared with the specified values of the boundary conditions in an optimization system assigned to the engine control and, in the instance of variations, the adjustment variable combinations are optimally altered in a progressive manner by the optimization system.
